"We stayed at Serendipity over my fall break off from teaching. This is our second time staying on St. George Island and we loved our experience. The house was perfect for my husband and me along with our 11 and 14 year old daughters. The layout of the house allowed our teenager to have her own room upstairs and more privacy. The girls loved having their own tv's in their bedrooms. The view of the ocean from the open living/kitchen area and bedroom was spectacular. It was so wonderful to sit on the deck and be up high where the view was unobstructed. We saw dolphins on many days swimming by. We enjoyed cooking fresh seafood from the food trucks and dining at the restaurant just down the beach. The central location was great for the restaurants, grocery, ice cream shop, Sometimes It's Hotter store (delicious bread and key lime pie), lighthouse, and basketball courts. We enjoyed delicious meals from the Grub Hut food truck. They serve breakfast and lunch and it is parked in a lot near Serendipity. The shrimp tacos were great! The weather was a little rough on one night and the following day due to Hurricane Patricia, but it improved for the rest of our stay. We spent time throwing back a lot of sea stars and jellyfish that had washed up on the shore still alive. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings. On the two days we did not stay on the island, we shopped and dined in Apalachicola, Florida and we drove to Panacea, Florida to visit the Marine Gulf Specimen Aquarium. We went there the last time we were in the area, and it is a really interesting place where you can reach your hand in the tanks and touch a variety of sea life. The girls were big fans. I convinced my husband to drive 30 minutes north of Panacea to Wakulla Springs State Park in hopes of seeing a manatee on the boat ride. We were in luck because we did see one along with many birds and gators. We ate at the lodge and really enjoyed it.The rest of the time was spent relaxing on the beach. The home was clean and had everything we needed for a really enjoyable and relaxing stay. It is a really nice home and you can't beat the location. Serendipity did not disappoint and our vacation was amazing! The stairs might be a problem for younger children and older adults, but we had no issues and liked the layout a lot."

"Very much enjoyed our visit to Deb's property, she was the perfect hostess. Property and beach were what we hoped for, a laid back, uncrowded beach stay. Deb was very responsive to us, before and during stay. Highly recommend."

"There were 6 of us on this trip
The home was wonderful. The hot tub and pool were comfortable and we'll maintained. St George Island is beautiful. The only problem with the visit was that we had to leave this little slice of paradise. I would recommend this to all."
