"After close to 19 years of renting various cottages and homes in many locations internationally, we would definitely say that Seaview is one the best we've ever been to. Fully equipped with everything you need and a very comfortable home - as well as only a short walk from a stunningly beautiful beach. As stated in the description, St. George Island is a gem of a place, not overcrowded but populated enough to support local amenities, shops, seafood trucks, etc. The home is well maintained and the owners make sure all instructions (to absolutely everything from working the tvs to garbage pick up) are clear and easy to follow. Beds are comfortable, dishware, cutlery and cooking utensils plentiful. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing, wonderful, carefree vacation !"Guest: Evelynne Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 31, 2014View listing
"We visited St. George Island for the destination wedding of a granddaughter. The option of staying at the Aqua Pearl, rather than at the Big House with 20 other family members, was a smart move. The house is exactly as the photos show. The accommodations were perfect....very clean, well appointed Florida decor, with lots of space inside and outside. The ambiance was great. The 2 couples enjoyed the lovely setting and had perfect weather besides. Lucky!"Guest: Anonymous Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 27, 2014View listing
"We had a beautiful, first-time vacation on Saint George Island from Illinois and thoroughly enjoyed our accommodations at the Paradise Bungalow. It was clean and well-maintained and best of all -- RIGHT ON THE BEACH FOR CHEAP!! There are certainly fancier places to pick from, but at this price, we were thrilled with how nice it was and with its location. It is a stone's throw from the Gulf and right in the center of the Island and for us, we were glad we picked the Gulf side rather than the Bay side. It was great to be able to just dip in and out of the Gulf throughout the day and send the kids down to the beach where we could still see them (JR High and HS aged). My ONLY negative for the Bungalow was that we could smell a pet odor when we first came in since it was all closed up and the air was off. After the A/C was running for a few hours though we could no longer smell it at all. All 6 of us fit just fine (manageable with one bathroom for a week). The kids said their beds were all comfortable, as was the master bed. The Wi-Fi was fast and dependable. We saw lots of dolphin, all kinds of crabs, star fish, and sea snails. We were also lucky enough to be there when the conservation folks checked a hatched sea turtle nest and got to see them rescue two little survivors! We snorkeled and kayaked over in Port St. Joe and looked all around Apalachicola which are both nearby. FYI, there is a Dollar General nearby for anything you might forget. We felt like we had the beach to ourselves for the most part. To say it was not crowded would be a huge understatement. It was too hot the week we were there to rent bikes to go the four miles to the State Park, but we drove over there and swam and it is pristine. We actually preferred the beach right in front of our own place though! The water was warm, but refreshing and the food on the Island was very good. We ate at BJ's Pizza and the Beach Pit. We had a really great time, and would pick the exact same place again now that we have seen everything first hand."Guest: Kim H. "My family stayed in Siesta Key Cottage for a week and loved it. The cottage is a charming rustic beach cottage that was just a short walk to the beach. The pool and the rooftop lookout was the best part. The kids played in the pool during the day and we enjoyed the rooftop lookout every night. The moon was so big that week you felt like you could almost touch it. The cottage has everything we needed for our family vacation. We will be returning next year!!!"Guest: Jaime H.
