  • Loved the island and the home

"This was my most relaxing vacation of the year and it was a girls' trip in continued celebration of my 50th year. The home is beautifully decorated, beds very comfortable and I loved the convenience of the pool (and the short walk to the beach made it hard to decide sometimes...beach or pool?). The shops in Appalachicola were dangerously fun and the oysters were everywhere! We had a blast body surfing and returning to drink wine on the patio. We even ventured out on the bikes for a bit and we took a sunset cruise on our last night there. I will definitely be back - kayaking next time. And thanks for the suggestions on where to go and what to do. Much appreciated."

  • Family Vacation

"I am writing this review on our last night at The Cottage! We have enjoyed our stay. A great place to rest and relax. Easy access to the beach, great views, and a beautiful home. Loved the walking and bike trails as well the views from each window! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. Already contemplating a longer visit for next summer."

  • Great getaway place

"Wonderful time...loved the view, the outdoor gallery for sitting, reading, watching the water and the sunset. Great place for a large crowd...big kitchen, open den/lounging area. Ample space to do about anything. Well-kept, clean. Managers responded immediately with a couple of needs we had. Highly recommend Sunset Point for a large group"

  • Wonderful

"The house was beautiful and the location was perfect. Very clean. Very well equipped, quiet and close to everything. Easy walk or bike ride to beach, restaurants, shopping etc. Solid food and very well trained staff at Blue Parrot where we ate several meals. Rented kayaks, paddleboards and bikes from Jolly Roger. Pretty good equipment that was discounted more with each additional item. The owners were very helpful and accommodating. The grill could use an upgrade but that was our only (very minor) gripe. Great fishing! The walking path to the beach ends at a stretch of beach that was oddly and wonderfully almost empty. Crowds to the left and right each day but almost nobody on that beautiful part of the beach including Memorial Day weekend. Aargh house was great."

St. George Island Travel Tips

St. George Island Rentals for an Undisturbed, Quiet Tropical Getaway

St. George Island, Florida is one of the most untouched and undeveloped beach areas along the Gulf of Mexico. St. George Island rentals give you total control over the activities and environment surrounding your visit to this ideal, yet secluded vacation spot.

Fishing Opportunities Abound near St. George Island Rentals

Fishing is one of the most popular activities for those staying in St. George Island condos. Visitors to St. George Island resorts bring their own fishing gear, shop locally for bait, and may even cook their catch of the day in the fully-equipped kitchen in their vacation rental homes. If you don't own fishing gear, there are rental shops located near St. George Island condos.

St. George Island Condos Can Be Your Homes away from Home

No matter your family’s personal tastes, many choices in St. George Island rentals will ensure you feel as comfortable as possible during your stay. You may prefer St. George Island condos that are big and luxurious or quaint and understated. Also, consider that St. George Island resorts may be located directly on the beach for the best views and easiest access possible to the Gulf and all of the surrounding wildlife.

Stay in St. George Island Resorts and Take Control

Staying in Florida rentals in St. George Island means that you’ll have total control over where you are located, which amenities you have access to, and which attractions you see when. You’ll want to schedule a day at the St. George Island State Park to see the newly-erected lighthouse, boardwalks and piers. Many visitors to St. George Island condos enjoy bird-watching and even hiking through the local trails along bay forests and salt marshes.

Nearby, you’ll find more than enough local shopping opportunities to find your necessary souvenirs too. Don’t forget to take full advantage of your Gulf access during your stay, either; several St. George Island resorts offer boat rentals so you can enjoy a day at sea or a simple afternoon paddling along the shoreline.
