  • Relaxing Retreat

"This was my first trip to this beautiful beach house at Port St. Joe Beach. We came the weekend of a songwriters' festival in town and had a blast traveling to different restaurants and bars in the area to hear musicians. Walking only a few steps from the back door to the beach was magical! My husband and I spend each night on the porch watching the sunset and the sky fill with stars. The house was so spacious and we have already began planning out trip to come back with two other couples as there is plenty of room on one side of this duplex for three couples. If you are looking for a beautiful, relaxing getaway with all of the comforts of home you MUST stay here!"

  • Women's week at the beach

"Four women, a full week, absolutely perfect getaway. This house (we only used half) is ideal for a great carefree vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed being in an immaculate house with enough room for us to have privacy as well as room to be together whenever we chose. The beach is right outside the back door - nothing between you and the sand. The large double porches, one up and one down, with rocking chairs for all were ideal for watching the sunset over the gulf. The nearest houses are just far enough away that it feels like you have the beach to yourself. And the beach is pristine. Beautiful white sand, amazingly clear water, and some great dolphin watching was there for us daily. The kitchen is well stocked with all the cookware, utensils, plates, glasses, etc. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are modern with ceramic tile showers. The rooms are spacious with plenty of storage. All in all, I would say this beach house leaves little to be desired. I definitely will come again. The location is wonderful, too, as day trips to Apalachiacola and Wewahitchka were only a few miles away. We scored some fun shopping and a bit of Tupelo honey. Most days we couldn't bear to leave the beach. Also, there are enough delightful rustic seafood restaurants nearby that we never had to worry about where to go for dinner. Thank you so much for the perfect getaway."

"My family of four stayed here for a week in the fall and loved it. The house is large, clean, and very nice. It is stocked with EVERYTHING except your clothes! St. Joe beach is a beautiful beach, and the house was just perfect! We rode bikes, walked, kayaked, played in the ocean, and took the golf cart to the beach, store, and to visit friends. We will be back..cannot wait!"

  • Family Spring Break 2015

"We loved the home and everything we could possibly need was at our fingertips! Loved having the beach in front where we could get up and look out over the Gulf while having coffee. However, there was quite a bit of road noise around the clock and the master was on the side of the house as the road. I don't think there is much that can be done about the road noise problem and the price was great! We could tell that the owners have taken very good care of the home and would definately recommend this home as a family vacation stay for our friends! Thank You for opening your home to our family!"
