"We loved the beach house. It was quiet and secluded. The back porch was awesome. It rained most of the week we were there :( but we spent most of the time on the porch watching the waves and the little white squirrel who ran around the backyard. We also got engaged there the Saturday after we arrived. The kitchen had everything we could have possibly needed and we cooked fresh seafood several nights we were there. The jacuzzi tub was awesome for unwinding after a long day out sightseeing. The sheets on the bed were cool and comfy. The shower always had hot water and the washer and dryer were brand new. Absolutely no complaints. We ventured out in both directions on different days. We loved St. George's Island....highly recommend the Blue Parrot Cafe. Wakulla Springs was amazing. Lots to see and very little traffic. Everyone was super nice in the area and very accommodating to tourists. Check out the Coastal Cafe nearby. Awesome food and AYCE specials. We would gladly come back. The caretakers were wonderful and super helpful to us. Thanks Cole for sharing your home with us. We truly had a wonderful and very memorable time."

"Beautiful, quiet beach. Only beach homes, no condos! The bay is protected so the surf is very soothing. This is a well-loved family beach house with enough kitchen dishes/pots and pans to feed a small army. We found this area of the pan handle to be more like a community than a tourist spot, which was refreshing. Many State Parks in the area and no lack of outdoor things to do."

"Loved staying here and walking on the beach everyday with the dogs. Steve and Nancy couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Good accommodations for 2 adults or 4 if you don't mind 2 of the adults sleeping on the futons downstairs. Those futons were also the living room couches, so it was a bit like camping in an RV. Great space for a family of 3 or 4 if two are children. Upstairs bedroom is quite large, with laundry and kitchen facilities. The main kitchen downstairs is large enough to cook fairly large meals and is very well equipped. The house is located on a very quiet stretch of St. Teresa beach and some days we only saw one or two other people. If sleeping accommodations had 2 full sized bedrooms (second bedroom upstairs was incredibly small but fine for one person) we would have ranked this house a "five." Even so, it was lots of fun to stay here and we knew in advance how it would be. Steve and Nancy's willingness to accommodate most requests made up for any deficiencies in sleeping arrangements!"

"We were looking for a quiet place to spend some family time on the beach. We found this home and decided to give it a try after reading others' reviews and doing a little research on the area. St. Teresa is a tiny place and definitely "off the map" as far as the normal hustle and bustle goes. Once we arrived we made a trip to the grocery store (a must) and, other than a short break to Apalachicola, didn't leave during our vacation. We found everything to be as was advertised and just as others have stated in their reviews. The owner has thought of everything and goes out of his way to make sure your stay is enjoyable. High on our list . . . we really enjoyed the beach at low tide. Be sure to read tidal charts and explore the shallow waters for crabs and other creatures, but be on the lookout for stingrays and jellyfish. We saw a few but avoided them with a little care. We were fortunate enough to see Manatees (very rare) and dolphins during our stay. Our thanks goes out to the owner for sharing his home. We can't wait to go back!"
