  • Absolutely Stunning Condo

"My husband and I have started a tradition by spending Labor Day weekend with our family and decided to give Perdido Fl a try. We have been to Destin, Myrtle Beach, Charleston and Key West and hands down this is the best vacation we have ever had! We loved it so much we will be booking for next year! This condo was absolutely beautiful!! It is so spacious, decorated so beautifully and has top of the line amenities! The Views, oh my goodness, the panoramic views of the Gulf of Mexico made us feel like we were touching the ocean from our bedroom all the way to the living room and kitchen!! It was close to many restaurants, parks and even stores, but far away from all the busy hustle of tourists..We even had complimentary chairs and umbrellas! My 13 year old son enjoyed the unlimited DVDs available throughout our whole stay! Karen the owner, was so helpful to me. I wanted to make sure my family enjoyed their vacation and I had so many questions and she was so very nice and very helpful with the whole process. She went Above and Beyond for me that we have decided that we will never go anywhere else for our family vacation! It is definitely a piece of heaven here:) Thank you Karen for making this the best vacation my whole family has ever had! God bless:)"

  • Perfect Month

"If I could live anywhere on the beach this would be it. The unit is really roomy and set up for living and the view is absolutely incredible! You can take a nap on the couch and wake up in time to watch the sunset without even having to sit up! It stormed one night with lots of lightning and I could lie in bed and watch the whole show. We stayed for the entire month and really felt at home. The kitchen is very well equipped - even a crockpot. Wi-Fi is easy and fast and cable has all you need. Toucan's, Killer Seafood and Gulf Foods are within walking distance and Mexico Beach is a great central location for everything you might want to do. Panama City Beach is about 45 minutes away and offers Pier Park Mall with its shops, restaurants and movie theater if you need a little more action. We also went to Gulf World Marine Park there and enjoyed it. If you have time, you can rent bikes or kayaks on Cape San Blas (we used Happy Ours) and definitely eat at Indian Pass Raw Bar. Port St Joe has the marina if you like to fish and good food. We really enjoyed Sunset Coastal Grill and Joe Mama's Pizza is really good pizza and the salad is super. We made the trip to St. George Island twice and will go back again next year. The shelling is great there as well as on Crooked Island and the Mexico Beach Public Beach right across the street from the condo is hard to beat. Apalachicola is another one of our favorites. Up the Creek and Boss Oysters are both right on the water and the oysters are great if you like them. One of our favorite places there is the Tap Room next to the Owl Cafe. Great atmosphere and you can enjoy the local brews and have one of the best hamburgers ever! I cannot say enough good things about Mexico Beach or Beach Destiny - hope to spend lots of years coming back."

  • Sandy's Review

"My 2 sisters, one best friend, and I stayed at the Beach House to celebrate my recent semi-retirement. We had a great time relaxing and enjoyed the atmosphere of the house very much. The owner was excellent to work with and the house was just as it appeared in the photos. Mexico Beach was a great place to visit and we plan to stay at the Beach House on our next visit there."

  • Amazing Vacation, Great Condo!

"This rental was amazing. It was comfortable, clean, convenient, and a great place to spend a relaxing vacation for 2 couples that just sent our children off to college. The added bonus of beach service that was included was the icing on the cake. It is beautifully decorated, yet comfortable, which makes you feel right at home. It was clean, which is a big factor in my reviewing a place. The owners were so easy to work with and very friendly. We plan on going back next year and hopefully staying at this condo again! We were THAT pleased!"

Florida Main North West Travel Tips

Florida Panhandle Vacation Rentals Give You All You Can Handle

Also known as West Florida, the Florida Panhandle region is one of the best places to plan a vacation. The Panhandle includes the northwestern area of Florida and is bordered by Alabama to the west, Alabama and Georgia to the north, and the Gulf of Mexico to the south.

The Florida Panhandle is full of beautiful beaches and so many other wonderful outside activities and exciting things to explore. Navarre Beach is a very popular tourist attraction and known for its soft white sands and jade green water. This beach is a great place for almost any water sport you can imagine. Biking, hiking, swimming, snorkeling, fishing, exploring the trails, bird-watching and horseback riding are only a few of the possibilities in the area, which is right smack dab in the middle of the Panhandle coastline.

You can expect Florida Panhandle accommodations to be well worth the trip. This area is absolutely spectacular and offers a plethora of thrilling attractions, white sugary beaches and all the Florida sunshine you can handle. When you decide to rent Florida Panhandle vacation rentals, you can choose from some of the most captivating and thrilling parts of this magnificent area.

No matter where you are in the Panhandle area, Florida Panhandle condos are abundant with all of the comforts of home, including living rooms, dining rooms, full bathrooms, fully stocked kitchens, gorgeous furnishings, game rooms, private patios and more. If you’re looking for a hotel-type setting but something more lavish, then Florida Panhandle resorts can accommodate you in more ways than one. You can choose one that offers you a magnificent view of the ocean and surrounding beaches, or one off the beaten path. Resorts also offer a wide array of options and amenities for your stay including shopping, dining in one of the fine restaurants, lazing by the pool, taking in a relaxing day spa, freshening up in a salon, hitting the club scene at night and much more.

Abundant Activities and Florida Panhandle Resorts

Florida Panhandle activities will keep you busy on many levels. There are plenty of outdoor activities as well as indoor activities to enjoy. There are many big game fishing opportunities for the fishing enthusiast in you, where you can charter a boat and head out to open sea for a chance to reel in some great fish. If you prefer a round of golf, there are several courses in the area that offer a great game in beautiful surroundings. The beaches here offer a chance to do some things that you might have never had the chance to experience such as diving, reef exploration, snorkeling, swimming with the dolphins, and lots of other exciting things.

There are plenty of relaxing and family-oriented activities as well. There are the famous theme parks in the "other part of the state," such as Sea World and Walt Disney World, where the entire family can experience the thrill of the rides and the magic of Disney's Kingdom. For a more offbeat experience, take the family to nearby Kissimmee vacation rentals and Old Town Park, where you can see a classic car show or ride an old-style Ferris wheel.

Panhandle Weather

Being that the Panhandle area is a part of the great state of Florida, the weather here is sunny and bright almost the entire year. The summer months can be very hot reaching well into the 90s Fahreneit which makes for perfect beach weather. The humidity can be bothersome at times for some but can vary considerably from one day to the next, and there are always ways to cool off in Florida!

The winters can be harsh and a major cold front moving in from the north can bring drenching rainfall and gusty winds. The average winter temperatures are usually in the mid to low 50s and afternoon thundershowers are common here. Weather in the area can at times be very unpredictable and temperatures can rise and fall without warning.

Travel to the Florida Panhandle

Since Florida is such a large state in comparison to others, you will have a couple of choices with major airports in the region. Orlando International Airport is known as the theme park capital of the world and many visitors fly into this airport for a quick jaunt to Disney World. It serves many major airlines and even ones from different countries as well. Tampa International Airport is located on the west coast and it overlooks the Gulf of Mexico, just at the edge of Tampa City. Both of these airports are equipped to serve all of your travel and ground transportation needs. You can rent a car or take a train, bus or shuttle to your resort or condo rental.

When you hit the highway on the way to the Panhandle region, two of the major highways to travel are the I-10 and Highway 65. These two routes will get you to almost any part of the Florida Panhandle area with such stops such as De Funiak Springs, Blackwater River State Forest, Conecuh National Forest and many places in between.
