  • Relaxing retreat in the Old Grove

"I booked this location to live like a local prior to possible buying in the Grove. It is easy to walk to the center of town and visit Coco Walk. If you want a beach type of vacation this is wrong as it is a removed area and ideal for older couples or people with children may like the casual atmosphere. My only complaint was a lack of closet space and the bath could use repair. Be prepared for the peacocks at night when they seem to love to come alive and can be very noisy. the bath is located in the one real bedroom. It is a lovely neighborhood and Mitchell and her daughter are very personable. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this unique accommodation if you want your privacy and enjoy seeing Old Grove homes and newer Mansions in one neighborhood. Thank you for a pleasant stay."

  • Grove home - very good location, tropical and roomy.

"My friends and I had a wonderful vacation in this beautiful home in Coconut Grove. We walked to the bay at the end of the street and in to the Village of Coconut Grove. Wow talk about location-location-location. The neighborhood is eclectic and upscale. The home is totally private and opens out to decks. The property was pristine and the grounds were lovely. The decks and sitting areas were perfect for morning coffee,BBQ and sunbathing. The manager was informative and very helpful. We will definitely return to this vacation rental!"

  • 100% sadisfied

"We were in Miami for my daughters graduation from the University of Miami. We had 6 family members in town plus daughter and 2 of her friends and I wanted a place we could all meet and relax and enjoy our special event. I had rented 3 hotel rooms with multiple bedrooms but that didn't give us a gathering point. I am a big user of VRBO and found this place and after checking as best I could rented here from Wed through Monday and then cancelled 2 hotel rooms. 4 of us from out of town stayed at the house and 2 more at hotel, and daughter and her 2 friends stayed at daughters house. But this place was where we all hung out. Great pool and back yard, very private with tables and chairs for all. The pool was enjoyed by all and used a lot by most. The back yard is very nicely landscaped and the palm trees , hedges and other plants make the back seem like you are pretty much alone in the jungle although the neighbors houses are on the other side of the jungle. The house was very clean and welcoming with a large living dining room area , 2 sofas and dining table and 6 chairs. We had dinner in the 1st night with 7 people and that, was find and then Sat night with 9 people which is tight but still ok. We could have eaten in the back pool area also. The galley kitchen is bigger then it may seem in the pictures...plenty of room for 2 or 3 to work and we prepared full dinners. Everything needed to cook, serve and eat was there. Coffee for me in the morning by the pool was great. Main bedroom and private bath was very nice with I think new tile and the other 2 bedrooms and shared hall bath were fine. The house also has 2 car garage and we parked one car there with others in the drive. I would definitely use this spot again. The house is near the University, south of route 1 and 10 minutes from Coco Walk in Coconut Grove to the north and the shops at Sunset 15 minutes to the south. Some of our group went to South Beach one night and others went to Bill Bragg Park, or Matterson Hemlock and down to the Everglades on day trips. The house is on a well traveled street and it can be hard to get out of the drive at times, BUT ignore that because when you get in the front door and outback to the pool you area you will be happy you are there."

Explore the Nightlife from Coconut Grove Vacation Rentals

Coconut Grove, Florida is home to dazzling nightlife—clubs, bars, high class restaurants. This is one of the premier Miami areas for fine dining, and Madonna used to own a mansion in this beautiful city, so there must be excitement and adventure here. Many Coconut Grove vacation rentals are close to the hopping after hours scene, so you can walk home without worrying about a designated driver. And if you want even more options for hip night time activities, Miami is just a few minutes away.

Coconut Grove is the Gateway to Miami

Why stay in crowded, noisy downtown Miami when you can enjoy your vacation from your Coconut Grove vacation rental? Many Florida East Coast beach rentals feel touristy, but a Coconut Grove vacation rental can feel like a home away from home. Coconut Grove condos offer more bang for your buck than a Miami hotel. With more amenities, more space, and more options, a Coconut Grove vacation rental is the smart choice for vacation lodging. Visit Miami's attractions, restaurants, and beaches after just a few minutes in the car.
