"My friend and I arrived to a beautiful coral rock cottage in an outrageous location! We were close to everything. The landlord was wonderful and check in was easy. We would take our coffee down the street and sit on the seawall and watch the sunrise and waves. Paradise does exist! It was a ten minute walk to the Coconut Grove Village to all the shops, restaurants and theaters. I will definitely stay there again and tell all my friends!"Guest: Ella Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: October 6, 2014View listing

"We were in Miami for my daughters graduation from the University of Miami. We had 6 family members in town plus daughter and 2 of her friends and I wanted a place we could all meet and relax and enjoy our special event. I had rented 3 hotel rooms with multiple bedrooms but that didn't give us a gathering point. I am a big user of VRBO and found this place and after checking as best I could rented here from Wed through Monday and then cancelled 2 hotel rooms. 4 of us from out of town stayed at the house and 2 more at hotel, and daughter and her 2 friends stayed at daughters house. But this place was where we all hung out. Great pool and back yard, very private with tables and chairs for all. The pool was enjoyed by all and used a lot by most. The back yard is very nicely landscaped and the palm trees , hedges and other plants make the back seem like you are pretty much alone in the jungle although the neighbors houses are on the other side of the jungle. The house was very clean and welcoming with a large living dining room area , 2 sofas and dining table and 6 chairs. We had dinner in the 1st night with 7 people and that, was find and then Sat night with 9 people which is tight but still ok. We could have eaten in the back pool area also. The galley kitchen is bigger then it may seem in the pictures...plenty of room for 2 or 3 to work and we prepared full dinners. Everything needed to cook, serve and eat was there. Coffee for me in the morning by the pool was great. Main bedroom and private bath was very nice with I think new tile and the other 2 bedrooms and shared hall bath were fine. The house also has 2 car garage and we parked one car there with others in the drive. I would definitely use this spot again. The house is near the University, south of route 1 and 10 minutes from Coco Walk in Coconut Grove to the north and the shops at Sunset 15 minutes to the south. Some of our group went to South Beach one night and others went to Bill Bragg Park, or Matterson Hemlock and down to the Everglades on day trips. The house is on a well traveled street and it can be hard to get out of the drive at times, BUT ignore that because when you get in the front door and outback to the pool you area you will be happy you are there."Guest: Don M. "We rented this home for a month-long stay, so we became very well acquainted with the property and its environs. Not only was it a wonderful experience, it exceeded our expectations in every way. The property is not only gorgeous but it is incredibly welcoming – the comfortable patio and pool area is a pleasure to enjoy all day/evening; the interior is beautifully appointed and extremely well-maintained/clean; the kitchen is perfect for those who like to cook and need some room to move around. As for convenience, you’ll barely need your car because you literally are in walking distance to the best that Coconut Grove has to offer. We had our dog with us and it was a special treat to be able to walk her around the community and enjoy the pet-friendly restaurants and outdoor lounges. Moreover, the owner and property manager were extremely attentive to all our needs, gracious, responsive to all our correspondence and, overall, exceptional hosts. We can’t recommend this property enough, thank you for the wonderful accommodation."Guest: James D. Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 9, 2014View listing
