"We had a family reunion in Delray and my husband and I rented this lovely one bedroom condo. While my daughter and family rented a larger house to accommodate their group of 8, we enjoyed this perfectly designed and decorated condo facing the Intercoastal. Everything in the condo was done so well…as my mother said, a place for everything and everything in its place! It was up in the morning and coffee and breakfast on the terrace overlooking the pool and Intercoastal. Then a swim in the pool and later a very short walk to the beach. For dinner we could walk the few blocks to Atlantic Avenue where there was endless restaurants -- but beware spending too much time in Kilwin's for their delicious ice cream cones. Thank you Elaine and Dan for your help and we hope to come back again. Barbara and Gary"Guest: Barbara G. Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: July 10, 2014View listing
"We had an amazing week in Delray with our family, which included our 3 daughters and their husbands/boyfriend, and our 2 toddler grandchildren. The property is spectacular, as advertised, and even better than the pictures, if that is possible! We thoroughly enjoyed all of the houses amenities, the jacuzzi and pool, the movie room, and the very well-appointed kitchen, which had every appliance and utensil we could ever need! The outdoor area is fantastic, lending itself for great fun during the day as well as in the evening. My hsuband loved the outdoor fireplace and TV! The house is a short ride to the beach and the restaurants on Atlantic Ave which we frequented for great shopping and wonderful meals. We also took the children to a turtle farm and a nice playground in town by the beach. My daughters, who are training for a marathon, ran from the house every day to the beach for a morning run. The owner, Joel, was very helpful and available to answer any questions we had during our stay. Without a doubt, we would recommend and return to this property!!"Guest: amy c. "It's hard to see how a location could be much better than this one - a hop away from the beach, yet in its own way secluded; a couple of blocks away from busy Atlantic Avenue, yet quiet. And it's hard to imagine a cottage more charming, from the paintbox of colors inside and out to the tropical plants and flowers in the yard. All was clean and up to date. The beds were comfortable, the showers powerful, the kitchen well equipped. The back yard is secluded, perfect for catching up on your reading or an outdoor snooze. The grill, beach chairs and bikes were much appreciated. I suppose some people would prefer a condo in a building block, but this is the classic vacation cottage by the shore. Did two weeks of perfect Florida weather help? Of course. But how can anyone resist a place that's delightful enough for fiction?"Guest: Charles M. "We spent 8 nights at this wonderful beach house. We're Delray Beach regulars and we were very pleased with our choice to rent this lovely home. The home is located exactly where we prefer, only one block from the beach and a few minutes walk to East Atlantic Ave. The home is also located near the south end of the beach which we prefer because it is a little less crowded during peak times and a great spot to watch surfers and kite boarders. The home offers everything you need with a great open floor plan which is an asset for family gatherings. The beds were also very comfortable. Note: The current beach chair membership includes 2 chairs and an umbrella (not 4 as previously mentioned in the home's description). Additional beach chairs are in the garage for guest's use."Guest: Susan M. Date of Stay: October 2014 Review Submitted: October 20, 2014View listing
Delray Beach Travel Tips
Discover the Coast of Florida in Delray Beach Rentals
Delray Beach, known as the "Village by the Sea," is a popular coastal destination in southeastern Florida. Visitors stay in Delray Beach rentals to enjoy the surrounding beaches, marinas, downtown amenities, and golf courses.
Choose Delray Beach Rentals and Enjoy Expansive White Sands
Delray Beach condos are perhaps most popular for their views of the surrounding white sand beaches that span nearly two miles. The Atlantic Dunes Park and Delray Municipal Beach are two of the most popular areas that tourists frequent during their stay. The Delray Beach is also one of the cleanest around any Southeast Florida rentals, as the city pays for regular cleaning services for visitors’ comfort.
Parks and Recreation around Delray Beach Condos
Five beachfront parks allow the entire family to enjoy beach volleyball or football outside your Delray Beach rentals. Athletic fields and courts offer great opportunities for games of softball, tennis or even basketball with your loved ones, too.
Just a short walk from Delray Beach condos, you’ll find one of the community parks that offer campgrounds complete with fire pits, picnic areas and even public pools if you’re looking for a way to experience the great outdoors during your stay. Of course, you can always simply nap the day away outside of your southeast Florida rentals while the kids swim and play in the sand, too.
Schedule a Day Cruise from Southeast Florida Rentals
One of the most unique things to do when staying in Delray Beach rentals is to plan a day cruise with the entire family. You may charter a yacht on a personal or group basis, and spend the entire day exploring the coast from the ocean waters. A narrator will tell the stories of the historical mansions you’ll see from the ship, and you’ll be able to witness some of the natural wildlife in their own habitat, too.
If you spend the entire day away from your Delray Beach condos, you can schedule a meal on board the cruise ship. Special cruises from Southeast Florida rentals include holiday tours and sunset cruises for a more romantic night out. This is a great idea for special anniversaries or birthdays!
