"I would highly recommend this property to anyone. It has been nicely (recently) renovated. We especially loved the shaded patio area where we ate most of our meals. Jon takes great pride in maintaining the garden. If you don't need to be steps from the beach (as was the case for us), Victoria Park is where you want to be. Quiet, narrow tree-shaded streets.
Jon was friendly & easy to deal with!"

"What a surprise to walk into this rather large oasis after a 24 hour drive from NY with two little boys! The pictures on the site just don't do it justice, it is much larger than it appears. The furnishings are lovely and comfortable, the Florida room is divine, comfortable open concept kitchen and living area, pool is perfect and the canal is your backyard. We had such a relaxing trip staying in this house for my family. We did not want fancy but not so rustic either...this house is such a great combination. Any breakables were easily put up high from the kids. We spent the majority of the time in the florida room where the kids could run around and I did not have to keep all eyes on them due to the pool. The screen door to the outside has a lock. There is a quaint fence around the back of the property as well. Bedrooms were comfortable and well situated. The house is well stocked with so many items to cook and for leisure such as all cooking equipment, spices, beach towels and pool gear. I am happy to say that it took a good 5 days before any TV was turned on during this vacation! There was a lot of sitting outside, swimming, fishing, eating and playing. This is my third time renting from VRBO (second time in FL) and I am always happy. Our biggest disappointment is that we could not stay even longer! The location is perfectly situated between Lauderdale by the Sea (less than 10 min) and Ft. Lauderdale downtown and beach area. It was quiet at night for the kids. We would love to return again next year!! Thank you Don and Tony!!!"

"We had the lovely opportunity to stay on the 4th floor condo from 3/26/15 - 4/2/15. We were looking for a place that would accommodate the needs of my family (husband, wife, 3 year old, and 5 year old) and our friends (husband, wife, and 18 year old daughter). This was a perfect setting for us! We loved how well the property was maintained. Barbara is extremely professional and will go out of her way to ensure her guests are completely 100% satisfied. We have stayed at plenty of top-tier hotels and other properties, and felt that this location matched some of our highest expectations. Being next door to the Marriott Harbor was a huge plus also and we enjoyed the amenities there. Lastly, we have several friends that live in the Ft. Lauderdale/Miami area. It was nice to be able to host them for a dinner and not be in a crowed space. Thanks Barbara for making our vacation so lovely!"

"I want to start by saying we rented this condo as a temporary home during our move to Fort Lauderdale. I will try to base my review from a vacation view point though, as most people renting this condo would probably being using it for that...
The location is prime in many aspects. Located near the beach, multiple restaurants, and shopping. It is slightly secluded and has a home feel instead of that big city feeling, when you are at the condo. From the condo window your view will be of the pool and the river, where you can watch the boats and yachts float. The court yard and pool area are very peaceful. Your parking spot is located directly behind the condo, making for a very short walk to the car.
The condo itself is adorable! It is small, yet the open concept of the living, dining and kitchen make it feel large. The bedroom is the perfect size, with a dresser, small desk and very nice walk in closet! The bathroom is your average apartment size, but has everything you need including a full size tub/shower.
The furniture is very comfortable, including the bed.
I have only one small complaint. It is that while the kitchen has everything you need to enjoy a good meal, it is very small, with less than a desirable amount of storage and counter space. My husband and I do cook a LOT, and would have found a small pantry to come in handy. But if you are vacationing, you might be going out a lot or only cooking light meals. The owner did make a clever use of space, however there is a broom closet on the outside of one of the kitchen walls, and personally I would have made at least part of that into a pantry.
Overall, this is the perfect place for a vacation home in Fort Lauderdale and the home itself is very nice. Also, the owner is very accommodating and polite. I would recommend staying here."
