  • Beautiful Experience!

"My husband and I had a lovely time at this hotel condo! It is a beautifully appointed, luxurious place with awesome views. We would definitely stay here again. Plenty of towels, large showers, double sinks, lovely tub. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with what you'd need, although there were no measuring cups that I could find. I was also disappointed that there were no dish towels, sponge or dish soap, which are generally provided in a timeshare condo, but apparently not in a VRBO. Neither of these issues were a real problem for us since we ate out for dinner and bought a large supply of paper towels for use in the kitchen in lieu of dish towels (breakfast, lunch, snacks). My only serious complaint is the coffee maker. The only coffee maker in the unit is one of the single cup makers in many hotels now. I didn't have a problem with it, per se, but they only supplied two servings of regular coffee and two servings of decaf. You can't buy it at the store (not like a keurig kcup) so you have to buy it from the hotel. That would be fine, too, except that they only sell it as part of a kit, which includes shampoo, conditioner, and other stuff I didn't want. And the kit is $50. I didn't get one, so I'm not sure how much coffee comes with it, but I imagine you might need to buy one every day. Yikes! Can you imagine staying somewhere for a week and paying $50 per day for coffee and a bunch of travel sized shampoos you don't need or want? Next time we'll buy a reusable filter at the store and bring our own coffee. We actually did buy our own coffee at the store, but rigging it to use with that coffee maker was no picnic and didn't work well. My advice to the homeowner.... Buy a regular coffee maker for your unit. That is ridiculous. Other than that, we loved it. We had a 'no hot water' issue for a day and a half, but that was a hotel-wide issue that they resolved, not specific to this unit. Also, friendly staff, etc. we did manage to get a few coffee refills from the concierge, free of charge!"

  • Private Oasis

"Can't express how much I miss the place! The privacy of the backyard and the quality of the heated pool...the open floor plan with the killer shower head. Thinking about it again makes me wish we could be there another month! Homey, comfortable, had everything we needed and more. Thank you to the owner for taking time to introduce us to the use of everything at the house....he was awesome. We drove an hour commute everday to an assignment, but would do it again if we had the opportunity and pleasure this house gave us. Thanks!!"

  • Thoughtful!

"I have rented in fort Lauderdale before and this was by far the most confortable I have ever been. Every detail has been thought of to make you feel at home. Linens have been updated from what is shown in the pictures and there are even beach towels and toys for the kids provided. The neighborhood was very safe and the neighbors were all very friendly. My only suggestion would be to add some grips on the stairs to avoid accidents for children and elderly."

  • Really Nice Place ...

"We spent a week in January 2015 at Hidden Gardens and our stay was extremely enjoyable. From the time we arrived, we both felt really comfortable, it was like we were at home. Jon made sure we had everything we needed, and he assured us he was available anytime if we needed him. That was comforting. Also, you can’t beat the location. We walked everywhere, Los Olas Blvd. is close and there are shops and restaurants close by. We enjoyed the Tacos at Rocco’s tacos. We plan to return next year and would definitely recommend this place to our friends."
