  • Felt like home

"We were very pleased with the described property. The house actually made me feel like I was in my home when I was younger. Enjoyed the picturers on the walls and the place for the old telephone. The location was great and close to the beach, stores and restaurants. It was well stocked with just about anything you may need. The owner was very helpful with any questions and the lady that cleans the house was very friendly as well. It was also clean. The neighborhood was charming and the neighbors were very nice. We have a dog so the backyard was very nice for walking him, even though he liked to lizard hunt among the greenery. The only recommendation I would have would be to update the beach chairs and kitchen towels. I would recommend this house to anyone who wants the comforts of home. We certainly would rent again."

  • Family of three from Seattle

"What a nice place! We loved everything about it. I agree with other reviewers that photos cannot do it justice. It is a lovely gem, just two blocks from the Riverwalk which leads to the charming Las Olas district. After a leisurely breakfast in the screened porch, we would spend our days exploring South Florida, then come back for a relaxing dinner and swim. Groceries (like Whole Foods), French cafes, FLL airport and beaches are all within a 10 minute drive. The owner Cristina is very helpful and accommodating."

  • Fun in Fort Lauderdale with Excellent Service!

"We recently stayed at Paradise Vacation Villa for 1 week. Tom was very organized from our first contact with him, to processing our payment and then meeting with us on our arrival at the Villa. The Villa is very clean and the pool is absolutely fantastic. We spent many hours with the kids in this very private and quite oasis. We had rented a car for our stay, which is very convenient especially if you want to go to the Everglades and see the surrounding areas. There is a Whole Foods within walking distance and a nail salon, hot yoga studio and a pub and restaurant. We did take the #10 bus to the Science Museum which is close to Las Olas Blvd. Once on Las Olas Blvd you can jump on a tram to the beach. We also went on the water taxi tour of the Canals which was great fun. During our stay, we had 2 issues requiring immediate service. The fridge broke down one day, and by the end of the day a brand new fridge had been purchased and installed. The second issue was the sink backed up and again Tom had the whole system flushed out and working within hours. We were due to depart Fort Lauderdale on Saturday but all flights were cancelled until Wednesday because of winter weather delays in other parts of the US. We contacted Tom from the airport to share our dilemma and he assured us that his next guest would not be arriving until Thursday and we would be welcome to stay in the Villa until our flight left on Wednesday. We are a family of 5 and have stayed in many private rentals over the years. We have never received the kind of extra ordinary service that Tom provided."

  • Absolutely amazing!

"My fiance and I stayed in this suite for 3 nights. Initially, I was curious as to why the owner didn't have pictures up of his actual place (the ones here on the site are similar). I truly believe it is so new guests can be completely awe-struck upon arrival! This suite was more wonderful than I imagined it to be. We didn't want to leave! Knowing it was equipped with a full kitchen, we stopped at the Publix grocery store before checking in to pick up some sodas, water, cheese & crackers, etc. I brought along ziplock bags, coffee, foil, paper towels, bag clips, etc. We had everything we needed for leftovers and small meals in the suite. The shower in the main bath is amazing! So big - perfect water temp and pressure. We sat out on the balcony to watch the sunrise each morning with our coffee, then again in the evening with a glass of wine listening to the ocean. I honestly don't want to stay anywhere else - a regular hotel room just won't work for us anymore! The hotel staff was extremely professional, kind and helpful. Pool towels are available on the pool deck and beach towels can be obtained from the front desk. Valet was quick with our car. Everyone we encountered seemed to truly like their job and care about the guests. The only meals we purchased were at the hotel's restaurants and they were all great. Don't miss the Sunday brunch! I was hesitant to write such a glowing review, for fear that this "secret place" will get out and I won't be able to book the days I want next time! That said, Robert, the owner, was very helpful and quick to respond to emails so it wouldn't be fair to him if I wasn't honest in my review! Don't hesitate booking here - you will most certainly be amazed at how wonderful it is!"
