  • Room 1010 was wonderful! Great view, lots of space!

"We rented four rooms. -1010 was by far the best. It had a bedroom, separated by a sleeping area and a balcony that was ocean front. We also had rooms 304/604/904. These rooms were nice, and had a very beautiful ocean view, but they had a balcony that was facing the pool. You could still see the ocean, but it was more of a partial view and not as beautiful as what we could see from room 1010. I would highly recommend room 1010. -The service at the Pelican was great. The rooms were nice. -The location is awesome being right on the beach, however, if we were to travel again without the kids, I would stay closer to Las Olas Blvd. -This was a great hotel for kids with the lazy river and not having to cross the street to the beach. -The booking agent was kind, but it took FOREVER to get anything done. Granted, we did have four rooms, and we did have one set of changes, HOWEVER, it literally took MONTHS to get actual confirmations and corrected invoices. He said that the property was under going many management and hotel changes which caused the delay. This created a huge headache when arranging the hotel accommodations for my guests. If it were not for the great rate, I would have just given up and found a different VRBO or gone through the hotel directly. If you are going as a group, I would have them each contact him individually rather than through a "group" because it was a nightmare. I hate to be negative, but it really should not take that long to confirm everything, especially when I typed it out for him who should be where."

  • Beautiful Condo! Perfect for a couple!

"We lucked out on finding this place! The condo was beautiful and right on the beach in Ocean Manor Hotel. It had everything we needed for a full week. The bed was comfortable, the hotel was very clean, the bathroom was beautiful, and the hotel itself had many amenities as well (laundry facility, ice machine, beach chair and umbrella rentals, coffee bar etc.) The sushi restaurant inside the hotel was delish, and the tiki bar outside was AWESOME!! You can order drinks and food from a waitress on the beach and they will bring it right to your chair. The property manager was very sweet and super helpful. He gave us a tour of the hotel and told us all of the great places we should visit in the city too. At the end of the vacation we felt like we were leaving a second home! We will def. be back and I would recommend this for any couple or even a small family because the couch folds into a bed too!)"

  • Fort Lauderdale Cottage

"I stayed at this lovely Fort Lauderdale cottage for 2 months this winter(February.-March). This was my second visit. It is "As advertised". It was roomy, bright, comfortable! A well equipped kitchen with more than enough dishes, glassware, etc. Each bedroom was spacious with good bedding. The owners were quick to respond to any issues that came up. And it doesn't get much better than to have Bill and Sally as your neighbors. Thanks Robin, Bill and Sally for a great stay!"

  • AWESOME

"I stayed at this place in May with my boyfriend, sister and best friend. We knew we were getting two bedrooms but had no idea it was two master bedrooms. This sealed the deal for us. Above that, the price was beyond reasonable. You usually hear people say " you get what you paid for " but in this case we got more than what we paid for. I woke up to a view of the mariner every day. We were literally walking distance from the beach and mall. We were walking distance but drove to the nearest Publix, where we got our groceries to cook at the house. You get a FULL kitchen. Man, I am just disappointed that someone else gets the chance to enjoy this beautiful, cozy and relaxing apartment for 4th of July and Labor Day. I would stay there a million times again. Let us not forget how helpful and professional Alistair is. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to enjoy your place Alistair."
