"We were mesmerized here by comfort and beauty indoors and outdoors.
Two hundred or less steps to the beach path which has a shower for comers & goers alike.
Across a bike path that can offer you a whimsical ride anytime you want.
(Note, down on Dania beach before the pier is a handicap blue mat that is unrolled out to the edge of the sand.)
Going to the beach and going back to Las Casas, multiple times on a daily basis offered much beauty in both environments. Airy, spacious, sky (rooftop terrace), ocean views peace & quiet. You can catch a sunrise & sunset from the roof. Coffee & wine times. If you can get out of thee most comfortable beds or? a tub that resembles something out of the Wild Wild West yet made for Lovey Howell. Bike to Hollywood Broadwalk to eat, or walk to Dania Pier for a bite. Bike to John Lloyd State Park or up over the Sheridan St. bridge to Ann Kolb Nature Center. These are short rides on not needed gear bikes which there are four of to use. As well as beach chairs, umbrella, and towels. Here is where Hollywood Beach meets Dania Beach (not crowded at all) luxury meets simplicity and heaven meets earth. I hate to say it, but, 'wicked'! nice. Back to Boston we went to return for sure.
Oh, and the elevator in the house for every need. And can be used as a dumb waiter or to transport a smart waiter. And at the Custer st. beach path on Fri, Sat and Sun from 3p-7p, this section of the beach is opened for all dogs to run free. We didn't have a dog but went for the entertainment. Worth every bit of no cost unless you bring your dog then there is a tiny fee."

"We were in Miami for my daughters graduation from the University of Miami. We had 6 family members in town plus daughter and 2 of her friends and I wanted a place we could all meet and relax and enjoy our special event. I had rented 3 hotel rooms with multiple bedrooms but that didn't give us a gathering point. I am a big user of VRBO and found this place and after checking as best I could rented here from Wed through Monday and then cancelled 2 hotel rooms. 4 of us from out of town stayed at the house and 2 more at hotel, and daughter and her 2 friends stayed at daughters house. But this place was where we all hung out. Great pool and back yard, very private with tables and chairs for all. The pool was enjoyed by all and used a lot by most. The back yard is very nicely landscaped and the palm trees , hedges and other plants make the back seem like you are pretty much alone in the jungle although the neighbors houses are on the other side of the jungle. The house was very clean and welcoming with a large living dining room area , 2 sofas and dining table and 6 chairs. We had dinner in the 1st night with 7 people and that, was find and then Sat night with 9 people which is tight but still ok. We could have eaten in the back pool area also. The galley kitchen is bigger then it may seem in the pictures...plenty of room for 2 or 3 to work and we prepared full dinners. Everything needed to cook, serve and eat was there. Coffee for me in the morning by the pool was great. Main bedroom and private bath was very nice with I think new tile and the other 2 bedrooms and shared hall bath were fine. The house also has 2 car garage and we parked one car there with others in the drive. I would definitely use this spot again. The house is near the University, south of route 1 and 10 minutes from Coco Walk in Coconut Grove to the north and the shops at Sunset 15 minutes to the south. Some of our group went to South Beach one night and others went to Bill Bragg Park, or Matterson Hemlock and down to the Everglades on day trips.
The house is on a well traveled street and it can be hard to get out of the drive at times, BUT ignore that because when you get in the front door and outback to the pool you area you will be happy you are there."

"This is a very comfortable home away from home. It has a great layout, new furniture, and a well equipped kitchen. The location is great, quiet and close to everything. What you see in the photos is what you get. The ocean is actually closer than it looks in the picture. Or you can park right at the beach literally. There are even showers. The owners were very accommodating. We would recommend this place to anyone as long as they don't want it at the same time we do."
