"My family (my wife, me and two sons) rent a condo and spend two weeks. Everything was very nice. We enjoyed our stay in Pavilion. Location is perfect, just in the mid of Miami Beach. It takes 5 minutes by taxi to reach restaurants, pubs and other places. Pavilion is clean. Nice, not very big gym, swimming pool with always warm water. Excellent view from terrace. We had few questions during our stay and called to Dorita. She always helped us. I would definitely recommend Dorita's apartment to enjoy vacation at Miami Beach."Guest: Sergey S. "We loved everything about this home including the friendly and helpful owners. The backyard patio/pool area is beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing. The interior is spacious, has a great layout that creates privacy for each of the 3 bedrooms, and is absolutely gorgeous too. We didn't want to leave! We would highly recommend this home without reservation to anyone coming to the Ft. Lauderdale. It is located in a nice residential neighborhood for walks or biking and is close (walking distance or a few minutes away by car) to everything!"Guest: Harpers Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: May 1, 2014View listing
"My wife and I recently rented this unit for a four-day weekend for a friend's wedding. Though Sunny Isles Beach is north of the "Miami beaches" (i.e., North Miami Beach and South Miami Beach), my review generally refers to the entire area as Miami because Sunny Isles Beach is only a 15-25 minute drive (depending on traffic) from South Beach. PROS: The unit was on the 19th floor, clean, and stocked with fresh towels, linens, most of the usual hotel amenities, and clean dishes when we arrived. The unit is true to its description - it is oceanfront with a slight view of the adjacent Trump Grande, and it was larger than we had anticipated. It could definitely sleep 4 people and actually had more room than my wife and I needed for just the two of us. The hotel's pool area was sizeable (two separate pools, three hot tubs) with direct beach access, and the wait staff was attentive. Fusion Lounge, the hotel's sushi restaurant attached to the lobby, was reasonably priced and VERY good (we highly recommend the yellowtail jalapeno appetizer). A HUGE plus for this unit is that the rental includes one free parking space and parking at the Trump is by valet. Parking in Miami can be difficult to find and expensive ($30-$60 for overnight parking at hotels, hourly garage rates of $3-$5), and if you do not rent a car you will spend $20-$50 for every taxi ride. CONS: There were a handful of minor negatives that should be an issue only if you are a very picky renter. The room had a slight musty smell when we arrived, which went away after we opened the balcony door and let in some fresh air. The bathroom door did not stay open on its own, so we propped it open with a waste basket. After we put some clothes in the dresser, the left middle drawer would roll open on its own, so we propped up a bookbag against it to keep it shut. Lastly, at times we could hear noise from the unit next door (a crying baby, the balcony door opening and closing). OTHER CONSIDERATIONS: The unit is privately owned, so you must pay an additional fee for housekeeping or wi-fi, and certain hotel services are not available. Check-in and check-out were easy and the bellhops, valets, concierge, and hotel employees accommodated us like any other hotel guests. Renting the unit was easy and the owner refunded our security deposit within 48 hours of our trip. OVERALL: 4.5/5.0. We recommend renting this unit if you want to be near Miami Beach without being in Miami Beach."Guest: Adam Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: April 2, 2014View listing
"We (2 adults/3 teenagers) had two wonderful weeks of vacation in this beautiful home - absolutely amazing. The house is very clean and very weel equiped with everything you need to make a perfect stay. Big pool, beautiful garden and we had great joy of the kayaks and all the iguanas who visited the place. We got seen and experienced a lot both in Fort Lauderdale and Miami, not to forget Everglades and Key West. Easy to book the house and Joe send a lot of information before your stay and answers questions during the stay if necessary. We can highly recommend this house"Guest: Linda Jensen Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 6, 2014View listing
