"Fantastic spot if considering SOBE, but don't want to deal with the crowds and all of the noise. The beach is WAY less crowded here and there are still plenty of good restaurants within walking distance, yet you are close enough to hit all of the SOBE spots (if you want to). The only complaint I had was that the staff at the hotel seemed a bit confused by us as "private guests". Do we get the same amenities that hotel guests get? "Yes, you get chairs and umbrellas - its part of you resort fee as a guest here." Wrong! You have to pay for them. Want a cup of coffee? "Sorry. I don't see you on this list." Really?? Not a big deal though. We still loved our spot in SOFI. Thanks, Alyson! We thoroughly enjoyed your comfy little studio and will definitely book with you again, if ever heading back down to SOFI."Guest: Indulgent1 Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 10, 2014View listing
"My husband and I have been visiting South Beach for over 15 years and stay at the Loews Hotel on Collins. I decided last year to rent an apt. since I wanted more space and the freedom to make breakfast in the morning. This year was our second time renting this particular apt. and we are very happy. The space is generous, location good, views amazing & the apt. is well maintained and the owners are available if necessary. I am very fussy about everything and I am very happy & will continue to rent from VRBO."Guest: a Miami fan Date of Stay: February 2014 Review Submitted: March 27, 2014View listing
"We have been staying in condos in Miami Beach for the past 15 years. This condo is by far the nicest one we have stayed in. It is luxurious, has all modern conveniences, and the views from both balconies are spectacular! The owner, Michael, is extremely helpful with any questions regarding the condo or basic questions about Miami Beach. He's amazingly accommodating and doesn't make you feel uncomfortable asking a lot of questions. One balcony overlooks the inlet where cruise ships come in and out of Port of Miami. The other balcony overlooks the beach and city. These views are fabulous and indeed memorable. Don't forget to bring your camera! Because of the location of the condo on the 31th floor, there is always a delightful breeze on both balconies. As I am a mosquito magnet, there are never any problems sitting on the balcony or leaving balcony doors open. The location of the building is excellent. It is a great area near good restaurants, a beautiful walking path, and convenient to the beach. Anyone staying in this condo will love it and have a wonderful experience. We would recommend it to family and friends."Guest: Nathan & Marilyn T. Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: May 17, 2014View listing
