"We recently spent a fabulous werk in this home with our two Yorkies. The home is comfortable and welcoming with everything anyone could possibly need. The hot tub and pool are so very relaxing after an exciting day of sightseeing and the dogs romped in the secure yard for hours. The house on its own is great, but when you factor in the location it is phenomenal. You are only minutes from the amazing park by the bay ( you must try the Cuban sandwich at Marina Jack's there ), St. Armands circle and Lido beach. Just a short drive puts you in Siesta Key or on Anna Maria island. We are already planning our next stay! To top it all off, the owner is a dream to work with and always helpful."Guest: Laura D. "This Townhome is lovely. It is well positioned, away from the noisy main road, with a West facing lanai - great for alfresco lunch or a sundowner, and, as a 'quad' unit, backs onto a courtyard with small pool. On our arrival it was in perfect condition and immaculately clean, equipped with everything we needed, including 2 bikes and beach chairs etc., though it probably wouldn't suit anyone who has a problem with stairs. It's just a short walk from the Ole village centre with it's great facilities, and Ole is well positioned between Naples and Marco Island, though, surprisingly, there seems to be a shortage of good local restaurants. To get a table at a busy time always involved a wait. We found getting the Ole management approval a bit bureaucratic, but that was no fault of the owners, who were quick to answer queries and unfailingly helpful throughout. Please note the prices quoted are all inclusive, so it's also good value. Altogether a very successful vacation and we would love to return."Guest: gkimm Date of Stay: February 2014 Review Submitted: March 17, 2014View listing
"This was our first time in Marco Island. We spent a month there so that family members could join us throughout our vacation and we hope to go back to this house next year. Everything is exactly as depicted in the pictures though I do not think those pictures did justice to the pool and to the setting both of which were outstanding. The sunrises from this house are amazing, every day we got up to see them. The pool is such an asset on a vacation and this pool had everything, it was big, it had fountains, a view of the river, privacy and plenty of pool toys. The house was very clean, well maintained, very family friendly in that we could spend a lot of time outside and when inside the family room and kitchen were condusive to being able to informally gather and relax. We had a minor issue in that we did not have access to the garage for the first few days to get beach chairs but that was resolved quickly. We had only one other very minor thing and the owner took care of that immediately. The owner had people come every few days to take care of the grounds and the pool, he provided a cleaning service during the month which we appreciated and that woman did an excellent job. The owner left a lot of information at the house about Marco Island and that was helpful. The beach is a short drive but there is plenty of parking at the beach. We went to some very good restaurants in the area. We had 2 small children with us and there is a lot to do on Marco Island including a great children's park and the library. The location of the house is right over the bridge so getting to Naples is easy though we tended to spend most of our time on Marco Island. I would recommend this property to others."Guest: Clare Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: August 8, 2014View listing
"This is a wonderful unit. Very comfortable decor, nice layout, probably the best view of the pool and the gulf. Allows you to sit on the porch and see both the pool (for watching kids, friends) and to also see the gulf in the distance. The pool was heated to a comfortable 85 degrees, and has been recently redone completely. The landscaping and grounds are spectacular and kept clean and neat, especially in the pool area that you view. The pool area is quiet. The young children we encountered were well behaved. The view from this unit is perfect being overlooking the pool with a nice view of the gulf looking over the pool. At night instead of looking at a black gulf view, you see the beautifully lit pool, with palm trees around. The beach is accessed from a boardwalk from the pool. All the properties in the area have a similar distance to walk to the beach but this property is landscaped all the way along the boardwalk and makes for a nice entrance. Nice garage area, parking for 3 cars. The master bath has a 60" shower and a 5ft tub/shower, then their is another full bath accessed from the hallway on the 2nd floor, then on the first floor a 3/4 bath. There is a den on the 1st floor has couch that folds out to a double bed, and the couch in the living room also folds out to a double bed. Walk or bike to Grandma Dots, Lighthouse cafe, Pinochio's, little farther to Lazy Flamingo, Traders, all favorites. Park your car and walk or ride."Guest: Ted W.
