"This is a fabulous place! It is an older home but it has been renovated with wonderful kitchen cabinets, granite counter tops, very nice, peaceful colors and great decor. Added to that, the beds are so comfortable. There is so much space in this house. We were there as a couple and had 2 friends spend one night with us. The pool was wonderful and everything is within walking distance or a short trip on the free trolley. We just love AMI and this house was in a very nice neighborhood without a lot of traffic. Very peaceful and a short walk to the beach. This is the cleanest house we have ever rented and we rent a lot of places on VRBO. There is a full size washer/dryer in the garage which was very handy. We are probably in the minority, but we like to wash on vacation and take everything home clean. We also like clean towels, so this was perfect for us. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need to make a nice meal. We drove to the Cortez Fish Market and did some fish and lobster on the grill. All in all this was the best vacation that we have ever had and we will be returning next June. Thank you Ramona and Mark for sharing this lovely place with us!"

"We spent 8 days in this great house near the Point. The house is very comfortable and well stocked. We usually rent a vacation house 1-2 times a year throughout Florida, and were amazed how much better stocked this house was compared to others. The house even had the special tool to replace the tube on my son's bike. Almost all the kitchen items were new and in good shape. Nothing in the house made you think it was a rental.
We attended a family reunion and other family members rented other houses on AMI. Everyone agreed we had the most comfortable house. We spent a lot of time at the beach, but also were able to bike to the two piers and local restaurants. There was plenty of room to store the kayak and SUPs we took.
The house has a real nice old Florida feel. I have been visiting AMI from when I was child in the 1970's. While some people complain about how AMI has changed over the last 10 years, this house retains the charm of AMI I have known for over 40 years."

"Our visit to Front Porch allowed us to enjoy this comfy little beach get away. We happened to take our own bicycles because we ride distance regularly. We rode our bicycles around this cute little town everyday for dining, shopping or site seeing. It was so delightful and the weather happened to be great also. It was low season which I am sure made a difference. We enjoyed the private pool at the house when we were not on the beach. The beach was so beautiful! We had our coffee out on the lanai in the mornings - sweet (and the fan helped)! There was a problem that really should have been dealt with prior to our stay. The sliding glass door to the side porch did not lock, the bar in the track was 4 inches to short allowing the door to open slightly, and the vertical blind was missing some blinds causing a privacy issue and the blind did not open or close without me putting my hand on the track to move it. I notified the owner of this issue and let them know that when I rented at full price I did not expect to have these issues. The daughter emailed to apologize. The mother called me to ask if I would get the repair man's info out of a drawer for her (which I did) but I also stated that I was not interested in staying there to wait on the repairman. As far as restaurants: we loved lunch at the Sandbar, dinner at Waterway, shopping and cinnamon rolls at Ginny & Jane E's, Ice cream at Two Scoops and drinks and appetizers at the City Pier to name a few! We did some shopping on the way in at Publix, but then had to enjoy the cute little General Store too. Be sure to check out the shops!! We can't wait to return to Ana Maria Island - it is a great place to celebrate anything or just get some R & R!!!!! I was surprised that it took two weeks for our deposit to be returned..."

"My family spent the Holiday including my sons birthday at this wonderful vacation rental in Anna Maria Island. Everything was as in the description and more. The location was great right on a very sandy beach and walk and bike to location .Shops ,restaurants & more. Jana is a wonderful host and very responsive. The home is very charming and not your standard generic rental. Its filled with wonderful antiques and large art collection. Comfortable beds, wifi ,cable and full kitchen and BBQ. Enclosed pool area with very extensive greenery is a great spot to dine in. Highly recommended."
