  • Great Location - Beautiful Views - Walk right out to the beach

"Everything was great with location and views. The house has a lot of space and laid out well. You are in walking distance to the Rod & Reel Pier for eating out, drinks, and fishing. You can even walk to the public beach if you want but we never had a reason to. We enjoyed walking right out the back and swimming in beautiful clear water with white sand. We will definitely stay again in future. The only small negatives would be the worn-out outside lawn furniture and interior needs updating (new furniture, kitchen). Still not a big deal - it didn't make our stay any less enjoyable. We loved it!"

  • Family Get Away

"We woke up to a family of manatees cavorting in front of our house every morning and again in the evenings. We had lots of storms, but always had plenty to do. We had a few bumps in our vacation, but the Blue Fish Realty people were great. We took our boat as well as our grill and enjoyed fishing and snorkeling on De Soto Fort. Just riding in the boat in a different environment was new and exciting. The house is about 3 blocks from the beach and there is parking on the side street for those who have mobility problems. We were there the week of the 4th of July and it was very crowded. But the fireworks were beautiful from the beach. Our children were 10, 11, and 17. The walk didn't bother them at all. We brought their bikes and locks and they rode those to the beach. There is a wagon there as well. Everything they advertise was there. Good luck to all and hope you have a great summer."

  • Perfect!!

"This place is wonderful. The views of the ocean from the second floor are beautiful. Such a peaceful and relaxing vacation. Owners are great. The place is very clean and well maintained. Walking distance to shops, ice cream, fishing pier, and great restaurants. We stayed for a week and our vacation went by very fast….too fast. We wish we could've stayed longer. I would definitely recommend this property and we hope to return again soon."

  • Three Years Running-our Favorite Spot!

"We have visited the Saltbox three times and we absolutely love it! In many senses it feels like our second home. You want for absolutely nothing; the cottage has it all. It is steps to the trolley, the beaches and still tucked back in a quiet spot for when you need down time. The open concept and high efficency washer and dryer on site makes it feel like you are at home. Lynn, the owner, is extremely quick to respond to questions and makes your vacation go as smoothly as possible. This truly is the hidden jewel of the island."
