  • Vacation Bliss

"If you are looking for a 3 bedroom house in a great location with amazing views and uncrowded beaches this is it! Your own private beach on the bay to watch the sunrises, shorebirds and dolphins literally at your back door. Sunsets, gulf beaches and surf just a short walk and two fishing piers within a five minute walk. The house has been updated and is well furnished and decorated. The master bedroom is up a spiral staircase so if you have mobility issues it may be a problem, otherwise the master suite is great! The downstairs bedrooms are small but well suited for children. The kitchen had everything we needed but lacks counter space. There is a great laundry room with 2 dryers and a fish cleaning station. Overall this house is a great value with an unbeatable location. We will be back."

  • Like Uncle Eddie's Awesome Margarita Shack

"You know how Uncle Eddie has that house at the water where they are always serving margaritas and going out on the boat and sitting in the hot tub drinking wine coolers? This is just that place! It's got a bedroom for everyone, a pontoon boat for rent, a screened sunset deck, a bunch of couches to watch the game on, and a washer-dryer to rinse the beer out of your sweat pants. With a touch as delicate as Uncle Eddie's last girlfriend, one of the bedrooms is decorated in purple with a floral wallpaper border; the flowery bed comforter was probably a later addition. Like Uncle Eddie's place, maintenance is not so great, so mind that the drawers don't fall out when you pull them open. You probably should wear shoes inside the house as there are a few flooring nails sticking up in the places where the laminate buckled, and there are splinters on the old back stairs. Give the dishwasher a good shove closed, but for good measure you'd better put a towel down in front of it before you turn it on. Be careful to inquire about extra charges not listed on the rental agreement--propane to heat the spa, gas for the boat. Uncle Eddie's place is awesome cool, and you will have a fun time when you go to this place too. Bring on the tequila!"

  • Look Forward to this week every year!!!

"We always enjoy our stay at the Sunrise Cottage, it is a wonderful place and a great time to whine down and just relax with great friends and of course great weather. The pool is awesome to relax in during the evenings and a short walk to the beach, we went and watched the sunset every night. Will be staying again next year awesome place, awesome people!!"

  • Time out in paradise

"Part of me wants to keep this slice of paradise a secret! Have been here a couple times and can't wait to get back. This place is prefect for a romantic getaway or just a little quite time for reading, reflection and relaxation. Literally, outside your front door is the beach and the Gulf. A gorgeous location. Love my coffee or happy hour on the beach doing absolutely nothing, but being content. Friendly walkers, runners and families pass by, smile and say "Hello" and that's all part of the peace and quiet. Great restaurants, music, and activities are a stroll away if you want that, too. Wave when walk by, I'll be in my beach chair with a big grin."
