"My sister and I recently spent 7 days in Marco Island at the Essex Condo with her 3 daughters ranging from 18 to 25 years of age and had an amazing vacation. We found the Essex Condo to be above and beyond our expectations. The condo was very spacious with a fully equipped kitchen, bedding, towels, cable TV, an awesome screened in balcony (where I enjoyed my coffee each morning and wine at night) and all off the beach accessories you could imagine. The beach was a short 3 minute walk where we swam in the day and never missed a sunset in the evening. The Essex is within 5 minutes from many great local boutiques as well as a hop, skip and a jump Naples. Though Marco Island has many wonderful restaurants to fit every budget and preferred cuisine, we mostly took advantage of preparing our own meals at the condo at our own pace. The Essex has no doubt change my way of vacationing. Combined with it's relaxed and comfortable atmosphere and location with plenty to do for the young and young at heart, I would highly recommend the Essex to anyone who is looking for a unique vacation worthy of jotting down in the memory books."Guest: ML Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 1, 2014View listing
"Thank you Bill and Sandy for another great stay at your home. This is our 4th time renting from you and our first stay at this house. Great location, only a 5~10 minute bike ride to the beach. The house, pool, and hot tub were great. The kids really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Within walking distance to the movie theater and a few restaurants as well. Plenty of towels, beach toys and chairs to use. Thanks again and will be in contact the next time we plan a trip to Marco Island"Guest: Alan M. "We had a terrific stay at the Dream Villa in Cape Coral. The Dream Villa is a large house with two bedrooms that have direct access to the pool. The split floor plan is great for privacy. The kitchen had everything we were looking for which says a lot since we cooked dinner in for seven nights. The pool area has a really nice exposure to the sun but also has sufficient shade all day long. We saw a dolphin one morning and there were several hawks and eagles that were nesting in the trees across the canal. Our dog was very entertained by the fish and birds in the area. The location is also great! Since we now live in the area we will recommend this house to friends that come to visit but want their own space."Guest: Brian & Karen W. "Five minute walk to: beach, shopping, restraints, marina, and fresh market. The property was very well maintained. My favorite place was the pool it was awesome. Communication with Cindy was very prompt and helpful. The only thing we missed was our king size bed. The Beached Whale was our favorite restaurant. Very good quality for the money. Thanks Cindy."Guest: Rosie M. Date of Stay: December 2013 Review Submitted: February 16, 2014View listing
Bonita Beach Travel Tips
Welcome to Bonita Beach Vacation Rentals
Stick your toes in the sand and relax with a good book at Bonita Beach in sunny Florida. When you take advantage of Bonita Beach vacation rentals, you will have white beaches, warm ocean water and much more to enjoy. North of Naples on the Gulf of Mexico, Bonita Beach is a vacation destination for all ages. Rent one of the many available Bonita Beach condos that line the beach and get ready to enjoy your home-away-from-home.
One unusual destination a short distance away from Bonita Beach beach rentals is Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, where you can view up to 200 kinds of birds. Keep an eye out for limpkin, anhinga, heron, idis and egret, to name a few. If warblers are more your style, listen up for the yellow-billed cuckoos and the black-throated green warblers. And don't forget to take a peek at the nesting wood storks -- the largest such colony in the US.
Koreshan State Park is another beautiful nature destination. You can walk through the gardens on your own, or take a guided tour. Trails wander by the Estero River, with its myriad of trees, including the traditional Floridian palmettos and palms. If you want to be on the water, grab a paddle and hop in a canoe. Take a break and stop for a picnic lunch or to explore one of the 11 restored buildings in the 200-acre park.
Enjoy the Condo
After all this nature exploring, you will be glad to head back to your condo, where you can make a home-cooked meal and watch the sunset. After dinner, if you still have energy, take a stroll on one of the miles of beaches right at your doorstep. You can even take a midnight swim in the ocean to cool off!
