"There were two couples in our group. The house was spacious, comfortable and fully equipped. We fished and took a great kayak tour of the islands with local guide Captain Rodney Raffield during our stay. One couple utilized the house canoe throughout our stay, paddling out into the main bay and up Halfway Creek for fishing and exploration. This was my second trip to the area and by far the most comfortable spot to be at...just minutes to town, restaurants, shops and our fishing launch on Chokoloskee Island. We enjoyed the local restaurants and also cooked the fresh fish we caught at the house. Favorite restaurants: Triad Seafood, City Seafood, Camelia's, and Havana Cafe. The Hardware store is also worth a visit!"Guest: Fishing Family Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: March 15, 2014View listing
"This trip was just perfect - everything we hoped it would be and a lot more. The house is in a great quiet location and minutes away from the beaches as well as from supermarkets and restaurants. The house is well equiped and the pool was a second home to our 2 sons. The complete outside area offers perfect privacy and the lake allows close contact to the Florida wildlife from morning to the amazing sunsets. Angie did a great job! She was willing and flexible to deal with us German vacationers and our special payment constraints and our desired trip dates. We already are looking forward to staying here again."Guest: Dietmar W. "My family recently stayed at this condo, and we can't recommend it highly enough. This is a great location! You walk directly across the street to the beach and can see/hear the ocean from the lanai. It was a wonderful treat having all the beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc. available for use, especially if you fly and are unable to pack those things. The unit itself feels luxurious...the kitchen & baths are nicer than mine at home! The pool, covered parking, & easy check-in are extra nice bonuses too. We also enjoyed Siesta Village for dinner & drinks. No need to drive...We walked there & took the free cabs home. Book it!"Guest: Tracy B. "We had a fabulous 11-day stay just pre-season. Kathy's condo is just as pictured -- spacious and comfortable. We love the ample closet space, fully equipped kitchen, good water pressure in the shower, and the balcony for morning breakfast. EBT itself has the best pool, we think -- warm (once in you really don't want to get out) and the deep end is 7+ft. Easy access to the beach. As far as we can tell, security at EBT is very good as well. Make sure to register your car and bicycles to avoid any problems... We rented bicycles and took rides on the beach and to Lovers Key State Park just south. The Publix supermarket is 2 miles away and there are many good restaurants within easy reach (as close as across the street). Great location. It was also a pleasure dealing with Kathy."Guest: Sharon R. Date of Stay: October 2014 Review Submitted: November 9, 2014View listing
Bonita Beach Travel Tips
Welcome to Bonita Beach Vacation Rentals
Stick your toes in the sand and relax with a good book at Bonita Beach in sunny Florida. When you take advantage of Bonita Beach vacation rentals, you will have white beaches, warm ocean water and much more to enjoy. North of Naples on the Gulf of Mexico, Bonita Beach is a vacation destination for all ages. Rent one of the many available Bonita Beach condos that line the beach and get ready to enjoy your home-away-from-home.
One unusual destination a short distance away from Bonita Beach beach rentals is Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, where you can view up to 200 kinds of birds. Keep an eye out for limpkin, anhinga, heron, idis and egret, to name a few. If warblers are more your style, listen up for the yellow-billed cuckoos and the black-throated green warblers. And don't forget to take a peek at the nesting wood storks -- the largest such colony in the US.
Koreshan State Park is another beautiful nature destination. You can walk through the gardens on your own, or take a guided tour. Trails wander by the Estero River, with its myriad of trees, including the traditional Floridian palmettos and palms. If you want to be on the water, grab a paddle and hop in a canoe. Take a break and stop for a picnic lunch or to explore one of the 11 restored buildings in the 200-acre park.
Enjoy the Condo
After all this nature exploring, you will be glad to head back to your condo, where you can make a home-cooked meal and watch the sunset. After dinner, if you still have energy, take a stroll on one of the miles of beaches right at your doorstep. You can even take a midnight swim in the ocean to cool off!
