"My wife and I have just returned to sunny Scotland after our second visit to the condo. I suppose coming back says it all. This is the best unit in the complex. When we opened the shutters, gosh! The view is simply stunning. Eating your breakfast on the lanai, watching the dolphins is a memory we take back to remember during the long winter. The owner is a gentleman and a pleasure to deal with. He has the unit stocked with every amenity imaginable. From state of the art wi-fi and HD tv's to the most comfortable beds and pillows imaginable. It is so quiet and relaxing that it got we hardly left the island. We stocked the huge new fridge and just relaxed in a beautiful location. The owners description doesn't really do it justice. For the ultimate in relaxation and comfort this is the place. Everyone is so friendly too. We met a lot of nice people and enjoyed a cocktail at the most gorgeous sunsets imaginable. Oh! Did I mention the views? Angela & Russell"Guest: Russell W. "This is our 2nd trip to Bonita Beach Club. We love it there and will go again. It's the last building at the end of the beach strip so is completely private on one side, yet public beaches are nearby for water sports or boat rentals. It's just a few minutes from a many different shopping, eating, and tourist areas. We found inexpensive family restaurants as well as fine dining. The residents are very friendly and helpful, and we met many repeat visitors there. The pool area is spotless and always a nice temperature. The unit was just remodeled & everything we needed to cook with was in the new kitchen. I would highly reccommend it to anyone."Guest: Angie & Kids Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: October 6, 2014View listing
"Absolutely LOVED staying here. Very good communication with the owners. The condo was very clean and had everything you could think of needing. It was like home away from home. Loved all the "extras" that came with ... Towels, beach cart, coolers and beach chairs just to mention a few! We will definitely be back. Thank you for everything!"Guest: Shelli Date of Stay: October 2014 Review Submitted: October 11, 2014View listing
"My husband and I enjoyed staying at the beautiful Mermaid's cottage during a recent family gathering in Bonita Springs. The house was a perfect get-away for us with plenty of room to relax and prepare meals in a nicely decorated and appointed space. We took advantage of the bikes, riding to Lovers Key State Park, and relished daily morning and evening walks on the beach. Bird watching was great right from the deck, where we observed osprey and egrets in the surrounding neighborhood trees. The Mermaid's cottage was a perfect retreat for us with easy access to the beach, nearby parks, and the surrounding area."Guest: Family visiting HSU Date of Stay: November 2014 Review Submitted: November 18, 2014View listing
Bonita Beach Travel Tips
Welcome to Bonita Beach Vacation Rentals
Stick your toes in the sand and relax with a good book at Bonita Beach in sunny Florida. When you take advantage of Bonita Beach vacation rentals, you will have white beaches, warm ocean water and much more to enjoy. North of Naples on the Gulf of Mexico, Bonita Beach is a vacation destination for all ages. Rent one of the many available Bonita Beach condos that line the beach and get ready to enjoy your home-away-from-home.
One unusual destination a short distance away from Bonita Beach beach rentals is Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, where you can view up to 200 kinds of birds. Keep an eye out for limpkin, anhinga, heron, idis and egret, to name a few. If warblers are more your style, listen up for the yellow-billed cuckoos and the black-throated green warblers. And don't forget to take a peek at the nesting wood storks -- the largest such colony in the US.
Koreshan State Park is another beautiful nature destination. You can walk through the gardens on your own, or take a guided tour. Trails wander by the Estero River, with its myriad of trees, including the traditional Floridian palmettos and palms. If you want to be on the water, grab a paddle and hop in a canoe. Take a break and stop for a picnic lunch or to explore one of the 11 restored buildings in the 200-acre park.
Enjoy the Condo
After all this nature exploring, you will be glad to head back to your condo, where you can make a home-cooked meal and watch the sunset. After dinner, if you still have energy, take a stroll on one of the miles of beaches right at your doorstep. You can even take a midnight swim in the ocean to cool off!
