  • On the Dock of Bonita Bay

"Bright and colorful rooms greet you when you arrive for your get-away here in SW Florida. The kingsize Tempurpedic bed is fantastic! Great location, within walking distance to the beach. Close to many restaurants, including a favorite hot spot, Coconut Jack's, which is practically next door! Always many smiles and welcomes from the friendly people who reside at the Plantation House and return year after year. We have enjoyed staying here for our last four winters and highly recommend this location. The owner has been wonderful to work with and always accommodating. Couldn't ask for better! Highly recommend!"

  • Siesta Key House -206718

"We just spent two weeks (2/7 - 2/21) at this location. The house was neat and very clean. The location is very convenient to the Siesta Key restaurants, shops and clubs. Downtown Sarasota is about a 20 minute drive. Enjoyed a successful fishing trip and a wonderful day on the water with Captain Scott Moore. Neighbors were very cordial and helpful. The beach is a short 3 minute walk and had great AM and sunset view. Would highly recommend this location."

Bonita Beach Travel Tips

Welcome to Bonita Beach Vacation Rentals

Stick your toes in the sand and relax with a good book at Bonita Beach in sunny Florida. When you take advantage of Bonita Beach vacation rentals, you will have white beaches, warm ocean water and much more to enjoy. North of Naples on the Gulf of Mexico, Bonita Beach is a vacation destination for all ages. Rent one of the many available Bonita Beach condos that line the beach and get ready to enjoy your home-away-from-home.

Bird Watching

One unusual destination a short distance away from Bonita Beach beach rentals is Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, where you can view up to 200 kinds of birds. Keep an eye out for limpkin, anhinga, heron, idis and egret, to name a few. If warblers are more your style, listen up for the yellow-billed cuckoos and the black-throated green warblers. And don't forget to take a peek at the nesting wood storks -- the largest such colony in the US.

Exploring Nature

Koreshan State Park is another beautiful nature destination. You can walk through the gardens on your own, or take a guided tour. Trails wander by the Estero River, with its myriad of trees, including the traditional Floridian palmettos and palms. If you want to be on the water, grab a paddle and hop in a canoe. Take a break and stop for a picnic lunch or to explore one of the 11 restored buildings in the 200-acre park.

Enjoy the Condo

After all this nature exploring, you will be glad to head back to your condo, where you can make a home-cooked meal and watch the sunset. After dinner, if you still have energy, take a stroll on one of the miles of beaches right at your doorstep. You can even take a midnight swim in the ocean to cool off!
