Recent Florida South West reviews

  • Falling Waters Getaway

"Beautiful view of the lake, water fountain and pool. Condo was clean, comfortable and well-furnished. Although the owner lives in Canada, he was very responsive (he and his condo watcher - Jacques). When the refrigerator malfunctioned, a repair man showed up the same day. The refrigerator was deemed irreparable, so the next day a new refrigerator was installed. Also, the owner was not hesitant to reimburse us for our food loss."

  • Great place on Bonita Beach.

"We have stayed at Westwind South many, many times and always are pleased. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen well supplied with dishes needed for cooking, and the beach a short walk across the street, beach supplies (chairs, umbrella, floats, ice chests) in the garage. I highly recommend Westwind South and we will be back for another week next year."

  • Relaxing Beach Getaway!

"We had a very enjoyable stay at Casa Siesta! Mitch was very pleasant to work with and the property was just as described. We found the condo spotless and very cozy. The complex was quiet and the mattress so comfortable that we found ourselves sleeping in much later than normal for us....even on vacation! We will be back & hopefully very soon!"

Bonita Beach Travel Tips

Welcome to Bonita Beach Vacation Rentals

Stick your toes in the sand and relax with a good book at Bonita Beach in sunny Florida. When you take advantage of Bonita Beach vacation rentals, you will have white beaches, warm ocean water and much more to enjoy. North of Naples on the Gulf of Mexico, Bonita Beach is a vacation destination for all ages. Rent one of the many available Bonita Beach condos that line the beach and get ready to enjoy your home-away-from-home.

Bird Watching

One unusual destination a short distance away from Bonita Beach beach rentals is Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, where you can view up to 200 kinds of birds. Keep an eye out for limpkin, anhinga, heron, idis and egret, to name a few. If warblers are more your style, listen up for the yellow-billed cuckoos and the black-throated green warblers. And don't forget to take a peek at the nesting wood storks -- the largest such colony in the US.

Exploring Nature

Koreshan State Park is another beautiful nature destination. You can walk through the gardens on your own, or take a guided tour. Trails wander by the Estero River, with its myriad of trees, including the traditional Floridian palmettos and palms. If you want to be on the water, grab a paddle and hop in a canoe. Take a break and stop for a picnic lunch or to explore one of the 11 restored buildings in the 200-acre park.

Enjoy the Condo

After all this nature exploring, you will be glad to head back to your condo, where you can make a home-cooked meal and watch the sunset. After dinner, if you still have energy, take a stroll on one of the miles of beaches right at your doorstep. You can even take a midnight swim in the ocean to cool off!
