"We enjoyed our stay at the beach house very much. It is well-maintained, spotlessly clean, and even had some starting supplies (including a choice of cereal for breakfast before trekking off to the grocery store!). This house works well for families like ours, with an assortment of beds that gives you lots of flexibility. The house is very clean, with lots of space but feels cozy at the same time. The bathrooms have been nicely updated, and this is the first rental house where we had parking available inside the garage. Thanks for the large selection of Disney movies and also the books you have. The screened porch is wonderful! It runs the entire width of the house, and is deep enough to let you eat at the patio table overlooking the beautiful view of the ocean or keep an eye on the kids playing on the beach. We enjoyed many dinners and morning coffees out there! Dan is very thoughtful and has kept this house as a special place that is family and pet friendly. It is a short walk down the beach to Doc’s Beach Restaurant and the rentals for jetskis, parasailing, etc. Yet the beach itself is quiet and has abundant shells and wildlife. We swam with dolphins, witnessed the release of baby sea turtles, and even saw a manatee. If your family is looking for a perfect beach getaway that is quiet yet not so remote that you feel marooned, this is the best place on the Gulf coast!!!"Guest: Anonymous Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 20, 2014View listing
"We come and stay at Beach and Tennis Club all the time. Why? Cause this unit is the best view and truly updated to make you feel like a queen and king! Granite, stainless, leather sofa sleeper, and the VIEW...not to mention a great owner to rent from...thank you Virginia!!"Guest: Nancy and Fred Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 1, 2014View listing
"My husband and I spent a wonderful week here, a perfect getaway for us. It was everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. Naples is close for a ‘city’ day with great shopping! We really needed a break and the Bonita Beach and Tennis Club was perfect, quiet, clean, wonderful view, great pool. Doc's Restaurant and beach right across the street. We really enjoyed shell hunting and beach walking. Can’t ask for better vacation spot!"Guest: Kim Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: June 12, 2014View listing
"We had such a good time and we really enjoyed our vacation at the lovely, cute beach cottage "Mermaid’s Hideaway”. It is such a well furnished/equipped, beautiful and lovely decorated beach hideaway. We really felt very comfortable. The cottage is only a few steps from the beach and only a few minute's drive to restaurants, shopping centers, malls, parks, etc. We really do recommend this beach home and we love to return once again!"Guest: S&P Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 7, 2014View listing
Bonita Beach Travel Tips
Welcome to Bonita Beach Vacation Rentals
Stick your toes in the sand and relax with a good book at Bonita Beach in sunny Florida. When you take advantage of Bonita Beach vacation rentals, you will have white beaches, warm ocean water and much more to enjoy. North of Naples on the Gulf of Mexico, Bonita Beach is a vacation destination for all ages. Rent one of the many available Bonita Beach condos that line the beach and get ready to enjoy your home-away-from-home.
One unusual destination a short distance away from Bonita Beach beach rentals is Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, where you can view up to 200 kinds of birds. Keep an eye out for limpkin, anhinga, heron, idis and egret, to name a few. If warblers are more your style, listen up for the yellow-billed cuckoos and the black-throated green warblers. And don't forget to take a peek at the nesting wood storks -- the largest such colony in the US.
Koreshan State Park is another beautiful nature destination. You can walk through the gardens on your own, or take a guided tour. Trails wander by the Estero River, with its myriad of trees, including the traditional Floridian palmettos and palms. If you want to be on the water, grab a paddle and hop in a canoe. Take a break and stop for a picnic lunch or to explore one of the 11 restored buildings in the 200-acre park.
Enjoy the Condo
After all this nature exploring, you will be glad to head back to your condo, where you can make a home-cooked meal and watch the sunset. After dinner, if you still have energy, take a stroll on one of the miles of beaches right at your doorstep. You can even take a midnight swim in the ocean to cool off!
