  • Just as the web page depicts. Beautiful apartment on upper floor

"We stayed in the upper apartment for three weeks. We travelled all the way from the UK and were, understandably worried that it might not be quite as shown. It exceeded our expectations. It was spotlessly clean, very spacious and well apointed. There are two decks, back and front so there is always a sunny spot somewhere to sit outside. The beds were comfortable with plenty of extra covers if required ( we had some cool nights and they were much appreciated) It is so spacious so even if six people shared there is always somewhere quiet to sit. Plenty of information books and a small library of paperbacks etc. The kitchen has everything you could possible need, I defy anyone to find anything that has been missed. The laundry is downstairs in the garage and is shared with the downstairs accommodation. There is only one washer but two dryers. I recommend that if staying more than one week that you change laundry any day except Saturday as the cleaners are using the machines for the other unit and you could be hanging around a while(or leave the washing until after 4pm) There are plenty of chairs, umbrellas, beach paraphenailia etc. with trolleys to convey it all to the beach, which really is 100 steps away(unless you take very small steps) The pool is small but functional. It could be crowded if both units use it at the same time. IOt would be ideal in the summer months as it provided lots of shade. If you want breakfast out we recommend Minnies Beach Diner - they are exceptionally good. There is the free trolley around the island so you really don't need to use the car unless you want to go back across the causeway for retail therapy."

  • Super House

"My wife and I stayed for 6 weeks over Christmas and New Year and were very sad to return home. The house is very spacious, furnished well in a comfortable, modern style and was spotless. The lanai is a great space and most of our meals were eaten outside even on Christmas Day! The pool seemed a little small but constrained by available space, so is narrow but long enough and deep enough for swimming. Access was easy for my wife, who has limited mobility. The house is well equipped in the kitchen, has plenty of bedding and towels, an excellent barbeque, and good HD TVs with digital recording capability. The house is central in Marco, handy to walk to the main shopping plaza and excellent farmers' market (every Wednesday). Though situated on a main road, the traffic noise was not obtrusive. The patio at the rear is quite private and not overlooked, though there are other houses backing on to the canal. Marco is a very quiet area, with quite strict noise regulations so if you have children, they will need a volume control! Great for us though. We found the rates for this house competitive against others in the region, particularly as tax and pool heating was included. Marco Island is a great holiday destination for house renters. Although it is completely developed, it is quiet with relatively low traffic levels, so getting to the many restaurants and shops is easy. Access to the super beach is restricted to a couple of access points (with $8 per day parking) and, with hindsight, we should have paid the $140 fee for a permit for the Residents' Beach (available with photo ID to anyone staying more than 1 month). However, Marco is also a great centre for boat trips (or rent your own), to visit wild life in the Everglades, shops, restaurants and beaches at Naples and Sanibel Island, and we even made a couple of trips up to Sarasota where the Ringling Museum was a must-see. Overall, we had a super time and happily recommend it."

  • Siesta Breakers

"2/28-3/7/2015 Condo was in great shape abpnd clean. Location is good. Grocery store and several restaurants within walking distance. Traffic on the key does get a little hectic during Spring Break but was not unbearable. Owner is one of the better ones. Provides good pre-stay info."

  • Wonderful!

"I have rented several homes in this gated community in years past. This home far exceeded any I have stayed in. Jennifer and Dan treated me as if I were family. The decor is beautiful; everything I could even think of was provided for my comfort. I loved my stay! Thank you!"

Bonita Beach Travel Tips

Welcome to Bonita Beach Vacation Rentals

Stick your toes in the sand and relax with a good book at Bonita Beach in sunny Florida. When you take advantage of Bonita Beach vacation rentals, you will have white beaches, warm ocean water and much more to enjoy. North of Naples on the Gulf of Mexico, Bonita Beach is a vacation destination for all ages. Rent one of the many available Bonita Beach condos that line the beach and get ready to enjoy your home-away-from-home.

Bird Watching

One unusual destination a short distance away from Bonita Beach beach rentals is Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, where you can view up to 200 kinds of birds. Keep an eye out for limpkin, anhinga, heron, idis and egret, to name a few. If warblers are more your style, listen up for the yellow-billed cuckoos and the black-throated green warblers. And don't forget to take a peek at the nesting wood storks -- the largest such colony in the US.

Exploring Nature

Koreshan State Park is another beautiful nature destination. You can walk through the gardens on your own, or take a guided tour. Trails wander by the Estero River, with its myriad of trees, including the traditional Floridian palmettos and palms. If you want to be on the water, grab a paddle and hop in a canoe. Take a break and stop for a picnic lunch or to explore one of the 11 restored buildings in the 200-acre park.

Enjoy the Condo

After all this nature exploring, you will be glad to head back to your condo, where you can make a home-cooked meal and watch the sunset. After dinner, if you still have energy, take a stroll on one of the miles of beaches right at your doorstep. You can even take a midnight swim in the ocean to cool off!
