"We had a great holiday at Mango Bungalow. The location is superb, in a quiet area yet extremely close to beaches such as Barefoot Beach which was a fantastic, unspoilt beach; restaurants and other attractions. We were able to visit Captiva, Sanibel, Naples, Marco Island & The Everglades very easily. We also visited Miami (2 1/2 hours away) and Key West (5 hour drive) where we stopped over for a night. Estero outlet shopping is also close by and a firm favourite with my wife and two teenage (17 & 14) daughters ! We also quiet days relaxing at the house, sitting outside by the pool. The bungalow provides all you need being spacious, very nicely decorated with great kitchen and bathrooms. Great place to chill out after the trips mentioned above. The location also suits runners like me where you can run round very quiet roads around the area, though the 95 degrees temperature meant it was a little warm! The booking arrangements with Amanda were very straightforward and she was a pleasure to deal with. Best endorsement was when we got in the car to leave for Miami airport, everyone felt very sad and we wished we weren't going home ! Until next time....."Guest: Anonymous Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 23, 2014View listing
"Our first visit to Bonita Beach Club was spectacular - hopefully there will be many more. The unit was newly renovated with all the bells and whistles - stainless steel appliances, new full sized washer and dryer, furniture and tile flooring. Fantastic sunset views. Owners are extremely gracious and easy to work with. BBC's amenities are plentiful and we took advantage of all. Can't wait until next year!"Guest: Jeff Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: May 13, 2014View listing
"This is our 2nd trip to Bonita Beach Club. We love it there and will go again. It's the last building at the end of the beach strip so is completely private on one side, yet public beaches are nearby for water sports or boat rentals. It's just a few minutes from a many different shopping, eating, and tourist areas. We found inexpensive family restaurants as well as fine dining. The residents are very friendly and helpful, and we met many repeat visitors there. The pool area is spotless and always a nice temperature. The unit was just remodeled & everything we needed to cook with was in the new kitchen. I would highly reccommend it to anyone."Guest: Angie & Kids Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: October 6, 2014View listing
"Other than the traffic noise in the early morning (busy Bonita Beach Rd.) it was a nice quiet complex. The tankless hot water heater works well after you adjust the water pressure under the bathroom sink. Could use a new coffee maker since the warming unit is rusting. Unit is nicely decorated; secured wifi and a flat screen TV."Guest: Snow Bird/Buckeye Date of Stay: February 2014 Review Submitted: March 4, 2014View listing
Bonita Beach Travel Tips
Welcome to Bonita Beach Vacation Rentals
Stick your toes in the sand and relax with a good book at Bonita Beach in sunny Florida. When you take advantage of Bonita Beach vacation rentals, you will have white beaches, warm ocean water and much more to enjoy. North of Naples on the Gulf of Mexico, Bonita Beach is a vacation destination for all ages. Rent one of the many available Bonita Beach condos that line the beach and get ready to enjoy your home-away-from-home.
One unusual destination a short distance away from Bonita Beach beach rentals is Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, where you can view up to 200 kinds of birds. Keep an eye out for limpkin, anhinga, heron, idis and egret, to name a few. If warblers are more your style, listen up for the yellow-billed cuckoos and the black-throated green warblers. And don't forget to take a peek at the nesting wood storks -- the largest such colony in the US.
Koreshan State Park is another beautiful nature destination. You can walk through the gardens on your own, or take a guided tour. Trails wander by the Estero River, with its myriad of trees, including the traditional Floridian palmettos and palms. If you want to be on the water, grab a paddle and hop in a canoe. Take a break and stop for a picnic lunch or to explore one of the 11 restored buildings in the 200-acre park.
Enjoy the Condo
After all this nature exploring, you will be glad to head back to your condo, where you can make a home-cooked meal and watch the sunset. After dinner, if you still have energy, take a stroll on one of the miles of beaches right at your doorstep. You can even take a midnight swim in the ocean to cool off!
