"There was absolutely nothing missing in this condo. Decor was tasteful and comfortable. What a joy to see the Gulf of Mexico through the kitchen and living room sliding glass doors. I would definitely recommend Dolphin Way, Unit 103 to all my friends. We will return."Guest: Ceil Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: October 13, 2014View listing
"This is our 3rd year staying in this unit and I'm amazed each time we arrive. Great place for a family getaway. Right on the beach. Pool is steps away to. Unit is clean and updated with all the amenities. You don't even need to leave the compelx. Owners are great to work with. Restaurants are nearby and I highly recommned Sneaky Petes for the best wings in town or Royal Scoop for an ice cold treat. Fishing is great snook everywhere. You can see dolphins and manatee daily in the cove."Guest: Island getaway Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: July 8, 2014View listing
"My husband and I enjoyed staying at the beautiful Mermaid's cottage during a recent family gathering in Bonita Springs. The house was a perfect get-away for us with plenty of room to relax and prepare meals in a nicely decorated and appointed space. We took advantage of the bikes, riding to Lovers Key State Park, and relished daily morning and evening walks on the beach. Bird watching was great right from the deck, where we observed osprey and egrets in the surrounding neighborhood trees. The Mermaid's cottage was a perfect retreat for us with easy access to the beach, nearby parks, and the surrounding area."Guest: Family visiting HSU Date of Stay: November 2014 Review Submitted: November 18, 2014View listing
"We had a great holiday at Mango Bungalow. The location is superb, in a quiet area yet extremely close to beaches such as Barefoot Beach which was a fantastic, unspoilt beach; restaurants and other attractions. We were able to visit Captiva, Sanibel, Naples, Marco Island & The Everglades very easily. We also visited Miami (2 1/2 hours away) and Key West (5 hour drive) where we stopped over for a night. Estero outlet shopping is also close by and a firm favourite with my wife and two teenage (17 & 14) daughters ! We also quiet days relaxing at the house, sitting outside by the pool. The bungalow provides all you need being spacious, very nicely decorated with great kitchen and bathrooms. Great place to chill out after the trips mentioned above. The location also suits runners like me where you can run round very quiet roads around the area, though the 95 degrees temperature meant it was a little warm! The booking arrangements with Amanda were very straightforward and she was a pleasure to deal with. Best endorsement was when we got in the car to leave for Miami airport, everyone felt very sad and we wished we weren't going home ! Until next time....."Guest: Anonymous Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 23, 2014View listing
Bonita Beach Travel Tips
Welcome to Bonita Beach Vacation Rentals
Stick your toes in the sand and relax with a good book at Bonita Beach in sunny Florida. When you take advantage of Bonita Beach vacation rentals, you will have white beaches, warm ocean water and much more to enjoy. North of Naples on the Gulf of Mexico, Bonita Beach is a vacation destination for all ages. Rent one of the many available Bonita Beach condos that line the beach and get ready to enjoy your home-away-from-home.
One unusual destination a short distance away from Bonita Beach beach rentals is Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, where you can view up to 200 kinds of birds. Keep an eye out for limpkin, anhinga, heron, idis and egret, to name a few. If warblers are more your style, listen up for the yellow-billed cuckoos and the black-throated green warblers. And don't forget to take a peek at the nesting wood storks -- the largest such colony in the US.
Koreshan State Park is another beautiful nature destination. You can walk through the gardens on your own, or take a guided tour. Trails wander by the Estero River, with its myriad of trees, including the traditional Floridian palmettos and palms. If you want to be on the water, grab a paddle and hop in a canoe. Take a break and stop for a picnic lunch or to explore one of the 11 restored buildings in the 200-acre park.
Enjoy the Condo
After all this nature exploring, you will be glad to head back to your condo, where you can make a home-cooked meal and watch the sunset. After dinner, if you still have energy, take a stroll on one of the miles of beaches right at your doorstep. You can even take a midnight swim in the ocean to cool off!
