"We stayed here 3/29- 4/5/14 very comfortable, beautiful, well kept up home. Perfect for 2 families with having the 2 master suites. Pool was wonderful and we used the hot tub heated extra cost for 5 days, since evenings were a bit cooler. View from the back screened pool area showed a natural Florida with Galinules, Great Egrets, 6-7 foot alligator, tricolored heron, night heron, anhingas, and cormorants. The Cape Haze Pioneer bike/walking trail was a short bike ride away with an Bald Eagles nest and 2 young immature eagles learning to fly. We brought our own bikes but Alan had a couple of nice bikes in the garage. The family room/kitchen was int he center of the home with the large patio doors which slid completely open to the screened pool area. Everyone had fun."Guest: Juli L. "My husband and I stayed in this unit for a week on our honeymoon. What a perfect location, unit, and town! We will never stay anywhere else but here in the future. This unit includes practically everything you'd need for a day on the beach. We had a small cooler, an umbrella, beach chairs, and beach towels waiting for us when we got here. (bring ice with you though!) There are "free ride" companies that will take you anywhere on the key for a tip. No rates like a cab company. The unit also includes everything you'd need just to live there for the week.. pots, pans, plates, utensils, plenty of bath towels dish towels..you name it. Be sure to bring toiletries for the week though! and extra toilet paper! The unit is immaculate. And the view in this unit is amaaaazing! If you're in the mood for a good burger go to The Boat Yard. the best burger you'll ever have in your life. I will be an annual visitor of siesta keys as long as I can walk ;) The Key itself was amazing. not too crowded. in the first 15 min we were sitting on the beach we saw 2 dolphins swim by, and on our 5th day a manatee swam about 5 feet behind us. The Key has everything but a decent grocery store. We just had a Free-Ride take us the Publix just off the key. Thanks Siesta Key for the perfect Honeymoon!!!"Guest: cscott Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 27, 2014View listing
"Our group of 9 had a wonderful stay at Villa Ultima. Ed and Karen were wonderful to work with and the home had top notch amenities. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and truly at home. We all decided we want to get the same washer and dryer and knife holder. The weather wasn't always ideal but we enjoyed the pool, lanai and relaxed in the home. Plenty of space for all to be together and to spend time alone. We just wish we could have stayed longer. It is definitely the nicest home we have ever rented. I would be inclined to go back to the area because the house was so nice. The screened in pool was especially awesome."Guest: Kerry C. "The house had comfortable furniture and plenty of seating for our family of 4. Bathroom soap, a few dishwasher soap tablets, trash bags, towels, plenty of pots/pans/utensils/glass and plasticware/flatwere were provided, but no dish soap or laundry detergent. We did not try to use the grill, but the microwave and stove top worked well. We mostly eat salads so the ample space in the refrigerator was appreciated. The ice maker worked well, so there was no need for the bag of ice we picked up on our way in from the airport. The stairs in front and back might prove troublesome for tiny children, older adults, or anyone who has trouble navigating stairs. The neighborhood was great for walking and neighbors were friendly and helpful. The wi-fi went out frequently, but we only had to turn it on and off to get it working again. I would stay at the house again and have recommended it to other family members and friends. We loved how far down from "Times Square" it was. The proximity to the refuge and Lovers Key State Park was convenient, as was delivery from Sand Bar. The location is quiet and sedate, which fit our family perfectly. We love to read, walk, ride bikes, and draw, as well as watch movies and documentaries on the Internet. The house was perfect for our week in Fort Myers Beach."Guest: Momotaro W. Bonita Beach Travel Tips
Welcome to Bonita Beach Vacation Rentals
Stick your toes in the sand and relax with a good book at Bonita Beach in sunny Florida. When you take advantage of Bonita Beach vacation rentals, you will have white beaches, warm ocean water and much more to enjoy. North of Naples on the Gulf of Mexico, Bonita Beach is a vacation destination for all ages. Rent one of the many available Bonita Beach condos that line the beach and get ready to enjoy your home-away-from-home.
One unusual destination a short distance away from Bonita Beach beach rentals is Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, where you can view up to 200 kinds of birds. Keep an eye out for limpkin, anhinga, heron, idis and egret, to name a few. If warblers are more your style, listen up for the yellow-billed cuckoos and the black-throated green warblers. And don't forget to take a peek at the nesting wood storks -- the largest such colony in the US.
Koreshan State Park is another beautiful nature destination. You can walk through the gardens on your own, or take a guided tour. Trails wander by the Estero River, with its myriad of trees, including the traditional Floridian palmettos and palms. If you want to be on the water, grab a paddle and hop in a canoe. Take a break and stop for a picnic lunch or to explore one of the 11 restored buildings in the 200-acre park.
Enjoy the Condo
After all this nature exploring, you will be glad to head back to your condo, where you can make a home-cooked meal and watch the sunset. After dinner, if you still have energy, take a stroll on one of the miles of beaches right at your doorstep. You can even take a midnight swim in the ocean to cool off!
