  • Great house and vacation

"Had a wonderful time at Shirley's Way. Weather was fabulous and views were awesome. Had a fire at the beach fire pit one evening under the stars. Home was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Sat on the deck for hours - amazing sunsets. Beautiful walks on the beach. Location was fabulous - very quiet and away from busy areas. Great local nearby restaurants. Hope to come back again."

  • Immaculate condo in great location!

"Perfect family vacation! The condo fit our family comfortably, had a great view, and was very well equipped. It's an easy walk to the beach for long morning walks (saw dolphins a couple times), lazy afternoons, or to catch a beautiful sunset. The heated pool was enjoyed by the kiddos several evenings. Walked to restaurants for dinner and played lots of board games on the lanai. Between afternoons at the beach and pool, we also went to the Naples Zoo and took an airboat tour in the Everglades. Just an amazing vacation with perfect accommodations!"

  • Incredible, nothing more to say

"We had the best time in this beach front home. The house was very comfortable for our family. Lots of room to spread out, but we tended to congregate on the porch overlooking the beach. The house is as described. Three bedrooms on the upper floor. (You have to be able to walk up a full flight of stairs in order to get to the living space) Incredible views of the water from the kitchen, front room, and master bedroom. It was in a great location near stores and restaurants that you could walk to and just a short drive to all the other places on the island. There is a free trolley that you can ride that takes you from one end to the other. It really helped that there was a washer/dryer in the unit. I looked up other rentals on the island and actually went to look to see where they were, as we are planning on returning. Based on the price and location, I couldn't find another one that offered as much as this unit, even if you removed the pet friendly filter. Laura, the owner, was very helpful and quick to return calls and emails. When we needed another light bulb because one burned out, it was there the next morning. The refund check was sent back quickly also. The owner let us have our dog at the house, which was great. Although, the island itself is not really dog friendly. You are not allowed to have your dog on the beach; however, we kept her on the beach right by the house and didn't have any problems. Plus, there is a beach on the causeway that you can have dogs. One thing I didn't understand from the pictures is how you got to the beach from the house. There is a staircase that goes from the porch down the side of the house and then you walk under the porch. This is a nice area where you can be right by the water but not in the sun. Then there are three stairs to the sand. My daughter loved laying out on the beach. The only thing I could even think of that might improve the rental is to have twins beds in one of the bedrooms. Regardless, we were 110% satisfied with our stay and are planning on returning. Thank you, Laura."

Bonita Beach Travel Tips

Welcome to Bonita Beach Vacation Rentals

Stick your toes in the sand and relax with a good book at Bonita Beach in sunny Florida. When you take advantage of Bonita Beach vacation rentals, you will have white beaches, warm ocean water and much more to enjoy. North of Naples on the Gulf of Mexico, Bonita Beach is a vacation destination for all ages. Rent one of the many available Bonita Beach condos that line the beach and get ready to enjoy your home-away-from-home.

Bird Watching

One unusual destination a short distance away from Bonita Beach beach rentals is Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, where you can view up to 200 kinds of birds. Keep an eye out for limpkin, anhinga, heron, idis and egret, to name a few. If warblers are more your style, listen up for the yellow-billed cuckoos and the black-throated green warblers. And don't forget to take a peek at the nesting wood storks -- the largest such colony in the US.

Exploring Nature

Koreshan State Park is another beautiful nature destination. You can walk through the gardens on your own, or take a guided tour. Trails wander by the Estero River, with its myriad of trees, including the traditional Floridian palmettos and palms. If you want to be on the water, grab a paddle and hop in a canoe. Take a break and stop for a picnic lunch or to explore one of the 11 restored buildings in the 200-acre park.

Enjoy the Condo

After all this nature exploring, you will be glad to head back to your condo, where you can make a home-cooked meal and watch the sunset. After dinner, if you still have energy, take a stroll on one of the miles of beaches right at your doorstep. You can even take a midnight swim in the ocean to cool off!
