  • Perfect!

"My wife and I, along with our 12 and 14 year old kids, wanted to explore south Florida. We selected this home in Hunters Ridge for the amenities of the house and the community (you can golf, play tennis, swim, bike, dine and relax without ever leaving Hunters Ridge) as well as the proximity to the best of south Florida. We explored area beaches, ( Barefoot Beach was our favorite with Gopher Tortoises rambling through the dunes), dined in downtown Naples, rode bikes and airboats through the Everglades, ( Bike Shark Valley Trail, an easy loop into the heart of the Everglades, and see gators, turtles and birds) and combed the beach at Sanibel Island. Hint: a mask and snorkel will help you find shells that are still in the water. Here is another hint. Florida in the Summer. Everything is more affordable and less crowded. We were able to be more spontaneous with dining and activities, never needing reservations for anything. Yes, it can be hot. Ocean breezes and water sports fix that, and the prospect of no crowds make the heat a worthwhile trade off. My expectations were exceeded. The house is well designed for gathering and privacy. The master bedroom and large, screened patio (lanai) look over the golf course and are surrounded by lush and well maintained plantings. The house is well stocked with everything you could want. The quality of the house and the furnishings are beyond what we have found in other rentals. We felt like guests in a very lovely home."

  • Relaxing Holiday

"This condo is very well appointed. It is roomy and nicely decorated. The TV and internet are good. It is close to restaurants, shopping and has the shuttle to the beach. We enjoyed Enzo's & Coconut Jack's and shopping at Coconut Point. It is quiet for sleeping although the waterfall can be a bit noisy during the day while sitting on the lanai. The quiet pool in back is available for your convenience. The grounds are nicely kept and the complex is clean and well maintained. The fitness center is well stocked with equipment for all needs. The Owner is easy to deal with and easy to contact. We would return to this condo again in the future."

  • Highly Recommended!!!!!

"The condo is located in the Bonita Springs Golf Resort. Access to the community is controlled (gated) and requires an access code after 6 PM. Grocery, hardware, pharmacy and eating establishments are less than one mile away. The condo has a single covered parking space just steps from the front door. The grounds and surrounding area are excellently maintained. Upon arrival, we had a little difficulty with the electronic door lock and had to make a phone call to gain entry to the unit. The owner happened to be in Bonita Springs and came over to help us out. He was very friendly and accommodating. We were pleased with the cleanliness, decorations, furniture and condition of the unit. As this is a ground floor end unit, a great plus was the enclosed courtyard decorated with a table, chairs and electric grill. Plenty of closet space and storage within the unit and an ample supply of cookware, kitchen utensils, bedding, towels, etc. The condo was also well equipped with many kitchen ‘gadgets’ (juicer, coffee machines, blender and waffle iron to name just a few), the appliances worked well and the full size washer and dryer kept up with our wet towels and swimsuits after visiting the pool almost every day. While the unit amenities included an electric iron, the ironing board was a small tabletop size (a full sized folding ironing board would have been nice). Large flat screen TV’s and individual Blu-Ray DVD players are located in the living room and both bedrooms. All that said, we found the listing as “handicapped accessible” not altogether truthful. While there are no steps to enter/exit the unit, lani and courtyard, the doors are standard size (30 inches wide), guest bedroom hallway and bathrooms are narrow (hard to navigate a wheelchair in), no grab bars in the shower/tub or around the toilets and both toilets are standard height. This was not a serious problem for us but I did have to make a trip to the local pharmacy to purchase a toilet seat riser due to my bad back. Pros: Location, close to everything of interest yet in a quiet area of town. Cleanliness, appearance, well maintained (inside and out). Close proximity of parking, pools and clubhouse. Friendliness of neighbors. Cons: Not an ideal ‘handicapped accessible’ unit (could be easily remedied by installing grab bars in the bathrooms and replacing the toilets with ADA (Americans With Disabilities Act) compliant height fixtures. Pools and hot tubs not accessible after dark."
