  • Great place

"The location of this building is perfect, across from numerous restaurants and the bridge to the rest of Sarasota. Right on the most beautiful beach I've seen in years. Perfect for 6 people, kitchen was well supplied. Some items were needed, called Dan and he told me to buy them and he will reimburse me. Dan is a very fine gentleman and easy to talk and deal with. The property was well maintained, Paul and Peter kept the property in excellent shape, always there working and with friendly smiles. Spent the month of February 2015 there and will be there February and half into March 2016."

  • Colonial Country Club

"My husband and I (and our dog, Zoe) thoroughly enjoyed our three month stay at Colonial Country Club. The condo accommodations were great! Besides being a spacious condo, there were ample sheets, towels, kitchen supplies, even dog dishes for Zoe. As we had never rented long term before and weren't sure as to what to expect, as far as supplies were concerned, we took extra "supplies" but learned early on, they were not at all necessary. The owners thought of everything and it was obvious they wanted to make us feel very much at home, and we did! There was even a welcome note and bottle of wine for us upon our arrival. We met a number of people at the community pool which was just steps away from the condo. Everyone was always very friendly and eager to share a story or two, as were the people we met at the pool parties. Every morning we took advantage of the scenic nature/walking trails. People we met on these adventures were again friendly and Zoe even made a friend or two on these daily walks. We spent a great deal of time in the lanai--either eating meals or playing cards--it was always so relaxing and the view is beautiful. This condo is in a great location--close to restaurants, shopping, golf, even the airport. We would certainly consider revisiting, as this was definitely a vacation to remember--in a good way!!!"

  • What a view!

"Got home safe. Hated to leave. Keys in the mail. Did we have fun? Let's see: Wonderful, beautiful , huge condo with everything we needed. Made breakfast and some lunches. Gorgeous view of the soft white sandy beach Siesta is famous for. Outstanding view of the Gulf from our Lani that stretched all the way across the condo. Sat and watched the sunsets.Walked the beach at sunrise and sunset. Great pool. We were the only ones in it most of the time. Great to take a dip after a day on the beach. Shelling on nearby Turtle beach was great. Visited the state park, hunted for alligators and walked the "Canopy". Went to Mixon's farm and toured the orange groves, toured their wild animal sancturary and held an alligator, a python, a bald eagle and other animals. Great photos. Fun in Siesta village with dinners at the Hub, Salty Dog, and the Daiquiri Deck. Best dinner was at Carragas Italian Grill. Donuts and Olaf's ice cream every night is a must in the village. Went Jet Skiing (only fell off twice), Parasailing on the gulf. What a ride! Visited Venice beach and did some shopping there. Not much of a circus person and I hate clowns but anybody who goes to Sarasota has to visit the Ringling Museum and Mansion. An absolute must see. We had perfect weather. Only rained the last night of our trip. Wife and daughter bought a lot of stuff-- I just paid. A great vacation. Would not mind moving down there (in your condo) Hope to call you again in the future!"

  • Sun, Sand and Charming Cottage

"We have visited Florida for 40 years and have seen the demise of wonderful one family homes that have been replaced by large condo units. We are glad this classy place is still available. Tom and Sue's home has given us renewed rational to go back to the Gulf Coast. Their home was in a terrific neighborhood close to the gulf. Streets were quiet and the walk to the ocean was 100 yards. The home had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. Tom and Anna, the manager, were very easy to work with and incredibly helpful. We will definitely return. Ted"
