"My husband and I stayed the week of Thanksgiving for our 30th wedding anniversary. It was wonderful, what a view! Condo was quiet, clean and had everything we needed. We loved the area and will be back."

"We loved your house Martin and Cindy. We had all of the comforts of home, but in a warmer setting, plus the pool and the lanai. The area was very quiet and restful. It was perfect for our children to visit and have enough space. Our 8 and 6 year old grandkids really enjoyed swimming in the pool. We have great memories of our first winter in Florida."

  • Paradise Found!

"We (my family of 6) just returned from a fabulous stay at the "Tipsy Turtle" on Anna Maria Island. The house was spacious, very clean and well stocked (including Band-Aids and Advil etc.) The house had everything plenty of towels, huge beach towels, hair dryer, bikes, beach chairs, beach toys and beach wagon. The beach is a short walk away from the house. Shopping and restaurants are a short walk away and easily accessible by bike. We only used our vehicle to go to Publix to get groceries. I highly recommend riding the bikes to City Pier to watch the sun rise (spectacular!) and walk to the beach at night to watch the sun set - when we saw many dolphins playing just off shore. Most afternoons were spent lounging by the pool and finishing off the dock in the back yard. Every time we fished, the resident blue heron we named "Frank" came and, if we were lucky enough, we fed him a fish that we caught. We also a manatee and sting ray in the canal. Anna Maria Island is our new favourite vacation spot and we will definitely stay at the Tipsy Turtle again. In looking around at the many other vacation rental on the island, I believe Tipsy Turtle has the best location and is the most tropical house you will find on the island - it truly is worth of 5 stars!!! A few "must-do's": have lunch at Skinny's and breakfast at Ginny and Jane E's - you won't be disappointed. Thank you Nedra for sharing your house with us and making this one of our best vacations ever!"
