"This home was everything that was advertised and more. It was very clean and well maintained and fully stocked with everything we needed for the week. It was convenient to everything and located in a beautiful quiet development. Everyone had a great week and left with many great memories. Thank you for allowing us to use your home. I would not hesitate to recommend it to others."Guest: Bill Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: November 17, 2014View listing
"We are already talking about our next trip to this beautiful condo and slice of paradise! The condo had everything imaginable to make our stay comfortable. The location is ideal, close to grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping. The amazing beach is steps away. Anxious to return!"Guest: Sandy C. "We just came back from a stay at Susan and Ken's condo. It was the best experience we've ever had renting from VRBO. The condo looked BETTER than the pictures described. Everything was brand-new and spotless. The perfect view looks out over the beautiful lagoon and you can see a great deal of ocean in the background. We spent hours mesmerized by the sights on the lanai. I've stayed in a "direct beachfront" unit in the "E" building at Pointe Santo as well, and I think the view from this C-building unit is arguably better than those units that are a few steps closer to the beach but only look out over the ocean and skip the beautiful lagoon. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. We never found ourselves requiring anything. Most importantly, the owners are fantastic to deal with, and really do want to ensure you have a great time. They responded quickly to emails and called us early on in our rental to ask if we needed anything or had any concerns. A fantastic touch. Pointe Santo is a great complex on Sanibel. We have stayed at several others (Sanibel Moorings, Tortuga Beach club, Sundial) and strongly prefer Pointe Santo. The landscaping is the most unique on the island, and there is no long bridge to cross to get to the beach. The pool and the hot tub were never crowded while we were there, although we do usually travel in the shoulder seasons. Beach loungers are also provided by the complex and were plentiful. Restaurant suggestions: *Lazy Flamingo - Excellent seafood, try the dead parrot wings if you can handle extremely spicy food. The waiter calls you crazy when you order them, it's great *Cheeburger Cheeburger - great milkshakes and burgers *Over Easy Cafe - AMAZING breakfast *Muddy Duck - very good menu and atmosphere, right on the beach in Captiva. Check out Jungle Drums Gallery while you are there. *Schnappers - tasty hot dogs and fries, quick service *Pinocchio's (near the lighthouse) - fantastic home-made ice-cream To sum up, I can't think of one negative thing to say about this property. The attention to detail on the part of the owners is incredible. If you are looking at renting a condo on Sanibel Island, I have full confidence that Susan and Ken's condo will be the best accommodation choice you ever made, just like it was for us."Guest: E Date of Stay: November 2014 Review Submitted: November 18, 2014View listing
