"The description of the property and the pictures did not do it justice. Everywhere was very clean and well maintained in fact it looked like it had just been renivated. Very spacious and the pool was fantastic. The owner left a file with all questions and answers regarding the property which we found helpful, The owner was also very helpful and replied to our e-mails promptly. The property is near all shops and restaurants. We would highly recommend this property to all our freinds and relations as we had a wonderful vaccation. The only thing we would say is that we had a bit of trouble finding the property and could have done with more explit road directions. We would definiately book again."Guest: alan h. "I was looking for a waterfront vacation rental that I could share with my 92-year-old dad on a little mini-vacation. We wanted a place large enough for the two of us, with a view of the water, and a coffee shop and restaurant within easy walking distance from our condo. Not asking too much !!! Lori's condo was a perfect choice. My dad could easily navigate around the complex. We had coffee every morning at Run Agrounds (we sat outside at the dog-friendly seating overlooking the marina, and enjoyed talking to the "regulars" who gave us tips on restaurants, etc.), had a great lunch at Rum Runners, shopped at the beautiful onsite art gallery displaying local artists' work -- all without leaving the property. We spent every evening on the large screened lanais drinking our martini (dad !) and wine (me) watching the boats come in and go out of the harbour. It was fun to watch, and the view was incredible. The condo is beautifully decorated, very spacious, with any kitchen item you'd want, very comfortable beds and furniture, and 2 screened lanais that face southwest -- with beautiful views of Sanibel in the distance, and cooler than the full west-facing views. Lori was wonderful to work with -- very responsive, flexible, and informative. It was nice to be able to spend so much time with my dad, and staying at this terrific condo was icing on the cake. I highly recommend it as a place to get away, relax, and enjoy life. Thanks, Lori!"Guest: Beth from Florida Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 17, 2014View listing
"All rooms are large and the kitchen has been beautifully renovated. The house was immaculate on arrival. The mattress is very comfortable. The owners are very responsive and accommodating. Next door neighbors are helpful. Very friendly, quiet neighborhood, close to all Cape Coral shopping and attractions.Beautifully kept yard and canal with boat docking facilities. Definitely recommended - a home away from home."Guest: Dan Dover Date of Stay: November 2013 Review Submitted: November 12, 2013View listing
"We (parents and a little girl) stayed in the Sungetaway villa for two weeks in July/August and had a wonderful time. Professional and helpful homeowners to begin with. Responsive and factual. Very important and reassuring when you cross the pond for two weeks. It rarely happens that you find nothing lacking in a vacation rental home ('where is the cork screw', 'does anyone know where the scissors are?'). Lots of rooms, great AC and fans throughout the house. More than enough towels, etc. And a big wachine machine and dryer (where we come from, everything is tiny and expensive). Tiles on the floor so very easy to keep the house tidy and clean. No bugs, no mosquitos. And a nice and peaceful area with, I figure, lots of vacation homes. Nearby a Publix supermarket, which was located just across our favorite restaurant, The Lobster Lady (open every day - don't try to make a reservation because they are unable to accomodatie that in their seating plan, just get there by 3 or 4 PM for a combined lunch/diner). We went to Captiva (lunch at the Mucky Duck) and Sanibel (lunch at Lazy Flamingo) and nearby Fort Myers Beach. No parking problems there and, for us Europeans, at $2 per hour sort of cheap). Disney is a long drive, so you'd better stay there in a hotel and return the next day. Rented a boat ar Paradise Rental. Not cheap but worthwhile, and you only need a drivers license! Watch out for the police though in Cape Coral (there is one living just around the corner. He puts his car in front of his house, the one thing a cop would never, ever, do in Europe, except for Switzerland perhaps). The town is so peaceful, that they have really nothing else to do than watch out for 'road criminals'. A lovely stay in a great place in Cape Coral!"Guest: Martijn Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 18, 2014View listing
