  • Super Clean and Comfortable!

"We greatly enjoyed your condo last week. Love the openness of the kitchen and living room. Everything was very comfortable(beds, couch, etc). Enjoyed the screened in porch during the thunderstorm. Loved having the beach just across the parking lot. This part of the island is the perfect spot for playing in the gulf. Gathered lots of shells and enjoyed the herons, egrets, and other water birds. We did notice that there is a small rip in the screened in porch near the screen door. Might want to have that checked. But we really had a great family vacation and your spacious condo was a fabulous home for the week."

  • Excellent Condo / Excellent Price / Great Stay

"The condo was absolutely amazing!!! We had a wonderful time and I would highly recommend this condo to anyone. The area itself is very clean, was not crowded, beautiful scenary, and located close to all ammenities. I've stayed several places through out the Florida coast and Beachplace at Longboat Key was byfar my favorite. We saw dolphins swimming down the coast almost daily and the local neighbors and fellow condo owners were super friendly and suggested several places to go and things to do. I definately look forward to going back in the future!!! We were extremtly happy we chose to stay two weeks there was plenty of time for attractions and relaxation. Perfect vacation after 16 days I definately was not ready to leave. Also a BIG thanks to Emily for being so pleasant and easy to work with booking and any questions."

  • Excellent property- could not have asked for more!!

"Upon arrival I was surprised at how nice the place was! The pictures really do the interior no justice! Just wait until you arrive, then you will understand the true beauty of the home (inside and out) and the island. Larger than anticipated, and of course as advertised, the townhome is directly on the beach. Everything is 10x more exquisite once you are present to experience it. Great place to really relax, enjoy the scenery, and the company of a significant other, a couple close friends, or a few family members. Loved the main bedroom, the view of the beach from the patio was phenomenal. The bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are on the top floor, then downstairs you have the kitchen, living, dining, and another half bath. The patio off of the living area is screened in, so that was nice and then there was a patio directly on the sand!! I loved it down there, nice place to read and enjoy a morning coffee (same with the top floor patio.) There is a seafood market not too far away stop there for some fresh seafood, and at the grocery (Publix is just up the street) on the way in! (But don't miss the ferry!!, check the schedule) This place is so nice, just like paradise. Wildlife, friendly locals, and if you go off the island you can venture out for some ice cream at Swirls and Curls. The resort on the island has a small store, a restaurant, and an ice cream shop! Bring a good book and look forward to really relaxing, and disconnecting from anything hectic!! Lots of fishing too, if you are into that, and please be considerate of the turtles and tortoises!! Keep an eye out, and go slow...Thank you to the owners for such a nice stay! I will be back and will highly recommend to friends in the future!"

  • Fantastic place-- close to the beach

"House is very nice and has a nice updated kitchen. The house is very nicely decorated with Mary Ellen's artwork. On this trip, we only had two adults and one 11 year old. We had tons of space. This house can easily accommodate 6-8 (using the couches to sleep). Bedrooms were comfortable and there were plenty of hangers and dresser space for clothes. Kitchen is very well stocked. We cooked in the kitchen every day-- except our day of arrival. It's always harder to cook in someone else's kitchen-- when you are used to your own. My advice is to bring a few of your "must haves" if you are able to-- particularly when driving. When we drive, I usually bring a few things that I'll want to have in the kitchen. This time, I brought (1) Espresso Coffee Machine, (2) Foreman Grill, and (3) a pot for making popcorn on the stove (so I didn't risk burning one of the house pots). We found the house to be a great balance of budget and location. It is cheaper than some places you'll find that are right on the beach. For the better price, you get being close to the beach-- instead of on the beach. The beach is 3/4 miles to the actual water. It's about a 10 minute walk to the public beach entrance (right next to entrance to Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park). It is a 2 minute drive to the beach. I recommend driving if you have gear. There is really no free parking at the public beach entrance. There is plenty of parking at the Delnor-Wiggins park for $6/day). The beaches were very nice / convenient. On one day, we ventured to Vanderbilt beach-- which is about a 10 minute drive to parking garage ($8 / day) followed by a 5 minute walk. Vanderbilt has a wider beach than Delnor-Wiggins pass and is more crowded. Both beaches are clean, well-maintained, with good facilities. I recommend researching both parks on the internet for additional details. Mary Ellen is extremely accommodating and easy to work with. You can't rent from a better owner. She obviously cares that her renters have a great experience. There are some basic, common-sense house rules that are easy to follow. The main rules were to keep sand out of the house and be careful with oil on the granite countertops. (Both of these you would do at your own house). We found the rules easy to follow. For sand, we always entered through the garage to drop off gear Then, we showed in the outdoor shower at the side of the house to rinse off any remaining sand."

Cape Coral Travel Tips

Find Your Quiet Florida Getaway in Cape Coral Vacation Homes

Cape Coral, Florida is not only the largest city in the southwestern portion of this popular vacation state. It offers over 400 miles of waterways that the local population and those staying in Cape Coral vacation homes are able to navigate and explore.

Stay in Cape Coral Vacation Homes for Laid-back Retreats

Cape Coral condos are ideal for anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway from the normal hustle and bustle of your traditional tourist hot-spot. Since the local community is largely made up of retirees and transplanted young families, Cape Coral resorts will place you in the middle of a beachfront oasis without the atmosphere of a rowdy college party nearby.

Day Trips from Cape Coral Condos

The city of Cape Coral is connected to Fort Myers, another popular local destination, by two bridges. A simple drive or even cab ride will place you in the middle of a different town full of local merchants and beachfronts, offering a relaxing day near Cape Coral vacation homes.

Many Cape Coral condos will also be located near merchants who rent kayaks, rollerblades and even fishing equipment for family adventures. Consider the activities your family will most likely enjoy before booking your rooms at Cape Coral resorts.

Cape Coral Resorts Offer a Taste of Local Flair

Staying in Cape Coral vacation homes gives you easy access to local businesses, restaurants, shopping and even annual festivals and parades. Grab a local paper after arriving at your Florida condos in Cape Coral, and see which local events your family might enjoy taking part in.

Research local tours, historical sights and even museums and galleries to find the attractions you’ll place on your must-see list. Also, consider that Cape Coral resorts have plenty to offer the romantic couple searching for a quick weekend getaway to reconnect away from the family too.
