  • Girls week

"Wonderful place for many types of vacations. We had a great girls week away from home in beautiful sunny South West Florida. Wining and dining was great whether we were at a local restaurant or dining on the lanai by the pool as the sun sets. Close to fabulous beaches, but also lots of other activities. Relax with a glass of wine while you learn to paint a colorful picture at Vino's Picasso in Ft. Myers. Take a sunset dolphin cruise to explore the coastal wildlife. Floating in the heated pool at night looking up at the stars was very relaxing. Shopping, eating, drinking, laughing, sunbathing, we all had a wonderful time at Berkshire Palms! Owners are wonderful, very accommodating, and knowledgeable about the area. The house is very spacious and comfortable. Definitely planning on returning again!"

  • Second visit to this property, even better than the first!

"My wife and I had been itching to return to this property ever since our first visit in 2011. Upon our return, we found this place to be even better than ever. The owners have clearly done a great job improving and maintaining this gorgeous home, one of the more expensive upgrades being a beautiful new driveway. Also, the landscaping is already so "Florida", but we noticed a number of new plantings to add to the beauty. On this visit, we've come to appreciate the spaciousness of this ranch-style home. There are nice places to gather large groups, or small, both inside and outside at the pool, so that those who want to get away from it all can do that, and others who want to socialize have plenty of options. This house is extremely comfortable, with all the main amenities you want (great pool, blissful bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms, lots of comfortable seating for socializing and dining, and a large, easy-to-use kitchen) for a very reasonable price. It's a no-brainer to recommend this place to anyone! We made three trips to the beach using the owner's excellent boat with an ample-sized outboard motor. Each beach was close to their property making for an enjoyable time on the water, not too long and not too short. In fact, we saw dolphins on every excursion, with the highlight being the first day when two dolphins jumped out of the water multiple times, making it seem like we were on safari! One suggestion for the owner is to add one more wooden bracket to the end of the dock, to make parking the boat just that much easier. Also, this visit, we ate out for dinner at two splendid locations, Pinchers at the Westin (excellent seafood), and at The Boat House (terrific location on the beach, also delicious fare). I love to eat al fresco, and both of these places had wonderful outdoor seating, as well as extremely good seafood. What a great place! We are doing all we can to save our $$ and return in early 2015 for our third visit. If you want a lot for your money, this is the place to choose!"

  • Great relaxing stay

"8 of us (two UK families) stayed in this fantastic villa, we couldn't have wished for more. We have been to Florida many times before and can honestly say this villa is up there with the best. Very well equipped inside and out, very comfortable and some really great features like the music system, dock area and tiki bar. We hired a boat which made the whole Cape Coral experience even better, visited our own secluded beaches and islands. Communication with Sylvie was always professional and all our questioned answered straight away. Would recommend this villa to anyone looking for relaxing Florida holiday near waterways, still travel to DW of you want a MM fix. Thanks Sylvie, sure we will be back."

Cape Coral Travel Tips

Find Your Quiet Florida Getaway in Cape Coral Vacation Homes

Cape Coral, Florida is not only the largest city in the southwestern portion of this popular vacation state. It offers over 400 miles of waterways that the local population and those staying in Cape Coral vacation homes are able to navigate and explore.

Stay in Cape Coral Vacation Homes for Laid-back Retreats

Cape Coral condos are ideal for anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway from the normal hustle and bustle of your traditional tourist hot-spot. Since the local community is largely made up of retirees and transplanted young families, Cape Coral resorts will place you in the middle of a beachfront oasis without the atmosphere of a rowdy college party nearby.

Day Trips from Cape Coral Condos

The city of Cape Coral is connected to Fort Myers, another popular local destination, by two bridges. A simple drive or even cab ride will place you in the middle of a different town full of local merchants and beachfronts, offering a relaxing day near Cape Coral vacation homes.

Many Cape Coral condos will also be located near merchants who rent kayaks, rollerblades and even fishing equipment for family adventures. Consider the activities your family will most likely enjoy before booking your rooms at Cape Coral resorts.

Cape Coral Resorts Offer a Taste of Local Flair

Staying in Cape Coral vacation homes gives you easy access to local businesses, restaurants, shopping and even annual festivals and parades. Grab a local paper after arriving at your Florida condos in Cape Coral, and see which local events your family might enjoy taking part in.

Research local tours, historical sights and even museums and galleries to find the attractions you’ll place on your must-see list. Also, consider that Cape Coral resorts have plenty to offer the romantic couple searching for a quick weekend getaway to reconnect away from the family too.
