"Our family had a fantastic Spring vacation at your nice home in Cape Coral. Fully equipped and large kitchen, nice and clean bedroom's, beautiful pool. The children were in it first thing in the morning and last thing at night.Sanibel Island and Captiva beach was our favorite. Only in bathrooms floor the cleaning is not done well. However, overall we loved this house. Thank you Marlen."

"Looking for a piece of beauty? This vrbo is worth the money. We spent a week in January enjoying all amenities this condo had to offer. First off we liked looking out at the rolling waves from the third floor. I personally liked to walk up the stairs but for those who did not like the hike up the stairs a elevator was available. The hot tub and pool were very enjoyable. I am a clean freak and I give this condo high ratings for cleanliness. My family also likes to cook. The kitchen was wonderful with top of the line pans and knives. The location is central on the island. We rented bikes and liked taking off to see ding darling national wild life refuge one day and heading off to the lighthouse the next. We enjoyed puzzles and Yahtzee at night. The tv was not on much so I can't speak much about available channels. Wifi was easy to use although our phone service was very poor (tmobile)...but I didn't mind I was in vacation...I didn't want to talk on the phone!"

  • Perfect Vacation!

"This is such a great condo, and Sandy was so accommodating with our schedule. The condo was super clean and decorated so cute. Loved the screened in porch and this was as close to the beach as anything else on Sanibel. Perfect location. We loved that you could rent bikes for the whole week very inexpensively and we were right next door to the best key lime pie on the island at the Sand Bar. 2 things that would be helpful for when you book this condo (and you definitely should) is that there wasn't a hair dryer or beach towels. This is not a problem since the managing company has both, but just make sure that if you need those things, you realize it during office hours. They are not there on Sunday. Also, bring your own salt and pepper and any spices. Sometimes condos have those, but my understanding is that in Sanibel they aren't suppose to have any food there."

  • Super House

"My wife and I stayed for 6 weeks over Christmas and New Year and were very sad to return home. The house is very spacious, furnished well in a comfortable, modern style and was spotless. The lanai is a great space and most of our meals were eaten outside even on Christmas Day! The pool seemed a little small but constrained by available space, so is narrow but long enough and deep enough for swimming. Access was easy for my wife, who has limited mobility. The house is well equipped in the kitchen, has plenty of bedding and towels, an excellent barbeque, and good HD TVs with digital recording capability. The house is central in Marco, handy to walk to the main shopping plaza and excellent farmers' market (every Wednesday). Though situated on a main road, the traffic noise was not obtrusive. The patio at the rear is quite private and not overlooked, though there are other houses backing on to the canal. Marco is a very quiet area, with quite strict noise regulations so if you have children, they will need a volume control! Great for us though. We found the rates for this house competitive against others in the region, particularly as tax and pool heating was included. Marco Island is a great holiday destination for house renters. Although it is completely developed, it is quiet with relatively low traffic levels, so getting to the many restaurants and shops is easy. Access to the super beach is restricted to a couple of access points (with $8 per day parking) and, with hindsight, we should have paid the $140 fee for a permit for the Residents' Beach (available with photo ID to anyone staying more than 1 month). However, Marco is also a great centre for boat trips (or rent your own), to visit wild life in the Everglades, shops, restaurants and beaches at Naples and Sanibel Island, and we even made a couple of trips up to Sarasota where the Ringling Museum was a must-see. Overall, we had a super time and happily recommend it."

Cape Coral Travel Tips

Find Your Quiet Florida Getaway in Cape Coral Vacation Homes

Cape Coral, Florida is not only the largest city in the southwestern portion of this popular vacation state. It offers over 400 miles of waterways that the local population and those staying in Cape Coral vacation homes are able to navigate and explore.

Stay in Cape Coral Vacation Homes for Laid-back Retreats

Cape Coral condos are ideal for anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway from the normal hustle and bustle of your traditional tourist hot-spot. Since the local community is largely made up of retirees and transplanted young families, Cape Coral resorts will place you in the middle of a beachfront oasis without the atmosphere of a rowdy college party nearby.

Day Trips from Cape Coral Condos

The city of Cape Coral is connected to Fort Myers, another popular local destination, by two bridges. A simple drive or even cab ride will place you in the middle of a different town full of local merchants and beachfronts, offering a relaxing day near Cape Coral vacation homes.

Many Cape Coral condos will also be located near merchants who rent kayaks, rollerblades and even fishing equipment for family adventures. Consider the activities your family will most likely enjoy before booking your rooms at Cape Coral resorts.

Cape Coral Resorts Offer a Taste of Local Flair

Staying in Cape Coral vacation homes gives you easy access to local businesses, restaurants, shopping and even annual festivals and parades. Grab a local paper after arriving at your Florida condos in Cape Coral, and see which local events your family might enjoy taking part in.

Research local tours, historical sights and even museums and galleries to find the attractions you’ll place on your must-see list. Also, consider that Cape Coral resorts have plenty to offer the romantic couple searching for a quick weekend getaway to reconnect away from the family too.
