  • Wonderful house for family vacation!

"Our family of 4 enjoyed this charming 3 BR house immensely! We most enjoyed having so much space a full house offered. House would be perfect with kids and grandparents too even, for 6 total. There are 3 couches and 2 lounge chairs in living room. The windows and lighting offered so much natural sunlight, which was inviting. The house was on a nice quiet street, yet one could walk to the trolley stop, or the Sandbar restaurant or the breakfast place across from it. Beach was only a short walk away as well. We would definitely come back and would recommend this house in a heartbeat to anyone who plans on traveling to AMI! We had 2 days great weather and 2 days cloudy/rain (but even used the heated pool, with no issues). We enjoyed a trip to the Mote Aquarium and took their "Sea Life" cruise on the Sarasota Bay... a must see, especially those traveling with kids. St. Armand's Circle also offered shopping and a variety of restaurants as well. But with a house, you could certainly plan on many meals at home. Also, Karen, the owner, was so very nice and very accommodating, especially with our travel times. We met friends from home while there, who have been coming to AMI for years, and they rented a smaller cottage.. they were in awe of our space. As previously mentioned, limited cleaning supplies available so I suggest doing an inventory when you arrive and getting once you are there. Also no hair dryer found (I forgot mine), so bring a travel one with you. We loved our few days on this island. If we ever come back to AMI, we will definitely be renting this house again! Wonderful vacation!"

  • Fantastic home, close to EVERYTHING, great owners!

"Our family (4 adults & 2 kids) stayed at this great home for 1 week. We can only say fantastic things about this place. Home is fully stocked: big flat screen tv, computer, wifi, linens, fully stocked kitchen - coffee maker, pots/pans - basically everything you need. Booking with Gary was a breeze and Rusty came by to change our bbq tank and make sure everything was okay during our stay. The location is phenomenal. 5 houses down is the access to the community dock. The guys had an amazing time - saw dolphins, manatees, sting rays, catfish and all other types of fish. We cannot wait to return, this house is a gem!"

  • Holiday stay

"A comfortable, quiet, fully equiped one bedroom apartment near to plentiful local shops, restaurants etc. An added attraction is a large library located just across the street. The property has it's own pool and the beach is only a ten minute walk away."

Cape Coral Travel Tips

Find Your Quiet Florida Getaway in Cape Coral Vacation Homes

Cape Coral, Florida is not only the largest city in the southwestern portion of this popular vacation state. It offers over 400 miles of waterways that the local population and those staying in Cape Coral vacation homes are able to navigate and explore.

Stay in Cape Coral Vacation Homes for Laid-back Retreats

Cape Coral condos are ideal for anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway from the normal hustle and bustle of your traditional tourist hot-spot. Since the local community is largely made up of retirees and transplanted young families, Cape Coral resorts will place you in the middle of a beachfront oasis without the atmosphere of a rowdy college party nearby.

Day Trips from Cape Coral Condos

The city of Cape Coral is connected to Fort Myers, another popular local destination, by two bridges. A simple drive or even cab ride will place you in the middle of a different town full of local merchants and beachfronts, offering a relaxing day near Cape Coral vacation homes.

Many Cape Coral condos will also be located near merchants who rent kayaks, rollerblades and even fishing equipment for family adventures. Consider the activities your family will most likely enjoy before booking your rooms at Cape Coral resorts.

Cape Coral Resorts Offer a Taste of Local Flair

Staying in Cape Coral vacation homes gives you easy access to local businesses, restaurants, shopping and even annual festivals and parades. Grab a local paper after arriving at your Florida condos in Cape Coral, and see which local events your family might enjoy taking part in.

Research local tours, historical sights and even museums and galleries to find the attractions you’ll place on your must-see list. Also, consider that Cape Coral resorts have plenty to offer the romantic couple searching for a quick weekend getaway to reconnect away from the family too.
