  • Relaxing retreat

"This home is a relaxing retreat. There are a lot of whimsical paintings in the home that brought a smile to my face. The upstairs bath has a mural of fish swimming in the ocean that lead to a large walk in shower with not 3 but 5 shower heads! The beds were comfortable, we had no trouble sleeping after a long day of golfing and relaxing in the spa. The kitchen had everything we needed. The washer and dryer came in handy allowing us to pack light. The location is perfect in that we found we were about 30 minutes away from everything we wanted to do, seemed to be a safe and friendly neighborhood with people out walking during the day. Lots of nice restaurants nearby. While the owner does not live in Florida, she responds quickly to email and returned our deposit quickly mailing it within a week of time. She was very easy to work with. The only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is because we were not able to heat the pool. We let Cerstin know and she quickly contacted the pool service. Unfortunately the pool service didn't resolve the problem. Its possible that we misunderstood the instructions but not probable as three of us interpreted them the same way. We would rent again next year if the pool problem could be resolved."

  • Cold weather escapee

"The photos were accurate for this property. It was clean and well maintained, close to grocery shopping and restaurants. The owner was very helpful in helping us set up our stay. I would recommend this property to others."

  • Excellent vacation location!

"We rented this property in July of 2014. The house and boat exceeded our expectations. The location of this property is ideal if you are interested in boating, fishing, shelling and simply visiting some of the best beaches in the US. The house is on a large canal and you can quickly access the Gulf of Mexico from this location. We saw dolphins and manatee in the canal behind the house. Everything was well maintained and everything we needed was available. The boat captain (David Barratt) that went over the boating operation and gave us a quick tour of the area was exceptional. He was very knowledgeable and extremely serving. He left us his cell number and encouraged us to contact him if we had any questions. We followed all of his recommendations for boating destinations and were not disappointed. Simply a very good experience...the pictures do not give the house, the boat (looks and operates like it is still brand new!) and the location justice. Would recommend if you are interested in a great family vacation with endless possibilities!"

  • Awesome family vacation!

"We enjoyed our stay. Thank you for sharing your home with us. The home is very spacious and well equipped with everything we needed. The canoe was a bonus the kids enjoyed it. It rained a lot so we could not go to the beach but we did go roller skating over in Fort Myers and that was fun!"

Cape Coral Travel Tips

Find Your Quiet Florida Getaway in Cape Coral Vacation Homes

Cape Coral, Florida is not only the largest city in the southwestern portion of this popular vacation state. It offers over 400 miles of waterways that the local population and those staying in Cape Coral vacation homes are able to navigate and explore.

Stay in Cape Coral Vacation Homes for Laid-back Retreats

Cape Coral condos are ideal for anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway from the normal hustle and bustle of your traditional tourist hot-spot. Since the local community is largely made up of retirees and transplanted young families, Cape Coral resorts will place you in the middle of a beachfront oasis without the atmosphere of a rowdy college party nearby.

Day Trips from Cape Coral Condos

The city of Cape Coral is connected to Fort Myers, another popular local destination, by two bridges. A simple drive or even cab ride will place you in the middle of a different town full of local merchants and beachfronts, offering a relaxing day near Cape Coral vacation homes.

Many Cape Coral condos will also be located near merchants who rent kayaks, rollerblades and even fishing equipment for family adventures. Consider the activities your family will most likely enjoy before booking your rooms at Cape Coral resorts.

Cape Coral Resorts Offer a Taste of Local Flair

Staying in Cape Coral vacation homes gives you easy access to local businesses, restaurants, shopping and even annual festivals and parades. Grab a local paper after arriving at your Florida condos in Cape Coral, and see which local events your family might enjoy taking part in.

Research local tours, historical sights and even museums and galleries to find the attractions you’ll place on your must-see list. Also, consider that Cape Coral resorts have plenty to offer the romantic couple searching for a quick weekend getaway to reconnect away from the family too.
