  • Beautiful view

"Well maintained clean and comfortable condo. Has all the amenities and more. Overlooking a beautiful pond and watching golfers on the first hole. Great golf, many pools to choose from, tennis court and the 19th hole is a great place for drinks, lunch, dinner. Owner very friendly and accommodating. We have enjoyed our stay and would certainly rent the condo again"

  • A laid back paradise

"This little cottage was just what we were looking for. We liked it so much we plan to return next year! It is in the east end of the island on a quiet street and just a two minute walk from the beautiful beach. There is no public parking on the street so the beach was quiet around the Seagrape Lane area. We took in sunsets and sunrises at the beach almost every day with lots of shelling, swimming and long walks in between. Also, you are within minutes walk to the water on the Causeway side of the island where we liked to sit in the shade or fish during the hot afternoons. In addition, you are within walking distance of the fishing pier which is very popular for those who like this sport. The cottage had everything we needed for a great beach vacation. There are lots of towels, extra bedding in case of cold nights, beach chairs and umbrellas. We did a lot of our own cooking and the kitchen was very well equipped. The beds are comfortable with new mattresses. There are plenty of books for people with various tastes which was great for two avid readers. We had a dog travelling with us so the outdoor shower, the lanai and the big yard were very helpful. Dogs are welcome on all beaches on Sanibel as long as they are on a leash. We brought our bikes which is a great way to get around the island. Next year I hope to bring my kayak as well as there are lots of places to paddle. We are nature lovers and really enjoyed all the bird watching as well as spotting the dolphins. Although you will see plenty of birds on the beach, a visit to Sanibel is not complete for us without a trip to Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge. Also, don't miss the farmer's market on Sunday mornings and a visit to the various public beaches on Sanibel and Captiva as each one has its own beauty and unique character. Karyn and Richard were very attentive and checked in with us regularly to see if we needed anything or just to share information on events and activities taking place in the area. They are very personable and easy to deal with. If you are looking for a laid back, cottage style vacation on a beautiful tropical island we would highly recommend Seagrape Cottage."

  • Perfect

"What a great place to stay. When booking the house, Bob was extremely helpful and always quick to respond to any questions that we had. The house was wonderful and the perfect getaway for us. We wanted a home away from home and some privacy which this gave us. We went many nights to the local restaurants (all within walking distance or an easy bike ride - bikes are well worth renting) but also enjoyed cooking in the well-equipped kitchen. The house is tucked away and even on the odd rainy afternoon we enjoyed being inside- reading on the terrace, watching tv or researching the island using the fast internet connection or by leafing through Bob's wide collection of books and local guides. Jensen's, Gordy's dock and the beach were true highlights for us. Captiva is so special and the house, well-maintained, clean, large and accessible, really added to our experience. Thanks Bob and family for sharing with us- an experience we'll never forget!"

  • Peaceful Paradise with gorgeous sunsets

"LOVE this heavenly quiet condo, it is the perfect place to go and forgot the rest of the world. Arrive with swimsuits, a few necessities, food and drinks! And the fun starts. Gorgeous sunsets, an empty beach, you truly have your own island. Our latest stay for the Fishing Tournament did not disappoint with 2 days of fun with friends. The unit is wonderful and the owners a pleasure. We have been many times and will definitely be back very soon! Highly recommended to family and friends."

Cape Coral Travel Tips

Find Your Quiet Florida Getaway in Cape Coral Vacation Homes

Cape Coral, Florida is not only the largest city in the southwestern portion of this popular vacation state. It offers over 400 miles of waterways that the local population and those staying in Cape Coral vacation homes are able to navigate and explore.

Stay in Cape Coral Vacation Homes for Laid-back Retreats

Cape Coral condos are ideal for anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway from the normal hustle and bustle of your traditional tourist hot-spot. Since the local community is largely made up of retirees and transplanted young families, Cape Coral resorts will place you in the middle of a beachfront oasis without the atmosphere of a rowdy college party nearby.

Day Trips from Cape Coral Condos

The city of Cape Coral is connected to Fort Myers, another popular local destination, by two bridges. A simple drive or even cab ride will place you in the middle of a different town full of local merchants and beachfronts, offering a relaxing day near Cape Coral vacation homes.

Many Cape Coral condos will also be located near merchants who rent kayaks, rollerblades and even fishing equipment for family adventures. Consider the activities your family will most likely enjoy before booking your rooms at Cape Coral resorts.

Cape Coral Resorts Offer a Taste of Local Flair

Staying in Cape Coral vacation homes gives you easy access to local businesses, restaurants, shopping and even annual festivals and parades. Grab a local paper after arriving at your Florida condos in Cape Coral, and see which local events your family might enjoy taking part in.

Research local tours, historical sights and even museums and galleries to find the attractions you’ll place on your must-see list. Also, consider that Cape Coral resorts have plenty to offer the romantic couple searching for a quick weekend getaway to reconnect away from the family too.
