  • Second visit to this property, even better than the first!

"My wife and I had been itching to return to this property ever since our first visit in 2011. Upon our return, we found this place to be even better than ever. The owners have clearly done a great job improving and maintaining this gorgeous home, one of the more expensive upgrades being a beautiful new driveway. Also, the landscaping is already so "Florida", but we noticed a number of new plantings to add to the beauty. On this visit, we've come to appreciate the spaciousness of this ranch-style home. There are nice places to gather large groups, or small, both inside and outside at the pool, so that those who want to get away from it all can do that, and others who want to socialize have plenty of options. This house is extremely comfortable, with all the main amenities you want (great pool, blissful bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms, lots of comfortable seating for socializing and dining, and a large, easy-to-use kitchen) for a very reasonable price. It's a no-brainer to recommend this place to anyone! We made three trips to the beach using the owner's excellent boat with an ample-sized outboard motor. Each beach was close to their property making for an enjoyable time on the water, not too long and not too short. In fact, we saw dolphins on every excursion, with the highlight being the first day when two dolphins jumped out of the water multiple times, making it seem like we were on safari! One suggestion for the owner is to add one more wooden bracket to the end of the dock, to make parking the boat just that much easier. Also, this visit, we ate out for dinner at two splendid locations, Pinchers at the Westin (excellent seafood), and at The Boat House (terrific location on the beach, also delicious fare). I love to eat al fresco, and both of these places had wonderful outdoor seating, as well as extremely good seafood. What a great place! We are doing all we can to save our $$ and return in early 2015 for our third visit. If you want a lot for your money, this is the place to choose!"

  • Christmas in Paradise!

"We were at Villa Floyd for a month. When we first saw the house my wife and I exchanged a smile and the thought "We get to stay here for a month!" Everything was wonderful. The boat was great and had a beautiful dock. The Villa itself was close to fishing. The pool was big enough for three people to float around in and the fenced in patio was a great place to spend the majority of our time. Anything you need is already there: a grill for cooking, floats for the pool, towels, cooking utensils, and lots more. There's a binder that had all the basic info you need (internet password, emergency numbers, etc), as well as a lot of flyers other residents have put in about local attractions and restaurants. We would definitely go back again, except that we loved the area so much we decided to find a house of our own here in the Cape! Bill and Helen December 2013"

  • Exceptional

"The codo appeared very nice on line but truly exceeded my expectations upon arrival. Truthfully the description on line does not do it justice. Very clean, very well maintained and beautiful property. When I contacted the owner with my questions and concerns prior to renting, he contacted me immediately. Every thing you could possible need to make yourself at home and then some. Ladies, don't over pack there is a washer and dryer in the unit. The listing does not mention hair dryer or iron, but it is there. Dishes, wine glasses, cook wear, complete... Everything was so nice my 17 year old son even made his bed when he go up in the morning, That's a first..."
