  • Excellent vacation location!

"We rented this property in July of 2014. The house and boat exceeded our expectations. The location of this property is ideal if you are interested in boating, fishing, shelling and simply visiting some of the best beaches in the US. The house is on a large canal and you can quickly access the Gulf of Mexico from this location. We saw dolphins and manatee in the canal behind the house. Everything was well maintained and everything we needed was available. The boat captain (David Barratt) that went over the boating operation and gave us a quick tour of the area was exceptional. He was very knowledgeable and extremely serving. He left us his cell number and encouraged us to contact him if we had any questions. We followed all of his recommendations for boating destinations and were not disappointed. Simply a very good experience...the pictures do not give the house, the boat (looks and operates like it is still brand new!) and the location justice. Would recommend if you are interested in a great family vacation with endless possibilities!"

  • Perfect place

"We had a wonderful time as the weather was as perfect as the house. The house manager Charlie was excellent and helped us find a boat to rent for a couple of days. We are looking forward to returning to the Cape Coral area next year. I would highly recommend this property for a great vacation as there is lots to see and do in this Gulf Coast area."

  • Everything We Were Looking for in a Rental Home

"My family decided to make a quick trip to Florida over Spring Break and luckily we found this property. It was reasonably close to local beaches (Fort Myers beach, Sanibel Island, etc) and to grocery stores, Walmart, Starbucks, restaurants/sandwich shops, etc. The pool was nice for the kids and overall the layout worked well for us. It was quiet, clean, slightly dated in some areas (however you can see where the owners are in the process of actively making updates) and met all of our requirements. I would have no qualms about returning again as it offered an excellent value plus the owner was very responsive and easy to work with."

  • Two adults over 50

"We stayed for one month and enjoyed the heated pool and the dock and deck. Boat or kayak lovers would really appreciate the dock. The house was new and very comfortable and was decorated nicely. It was supplied with what we needed. The owner has landscaped the property perfectly. It is very attractive outside. The canal view from the lanai was peaceful and comforting. Siting on the dock and watching the wildlife was nice. The proximity to Matlacha seafood restaurants was convenient. MY husband enjoyed golfing at several locations nearby. Wifi was good."

Cape Coral Travel Tips

Find Your Quiet Florida Getaway in Cape Coral Vacation Homes

Cape Coral, Florida is not only the largest city in the southwestern portion of this popular vacation state. It offers over 400 miles of waterways that the local population and those staying in Cape Coral vacation homes are able to navigate and explore.

Stay in Cape Coral Vacation Homes for Laid-back Retreats

Cape Coral condos are ideal for anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway from the normal hustle and bustle of your traditional tourist hot-spot. Since the local community is largely made up of retirees and transplanted young families, Cape Coral resorts will place you in the middle of a beachfront oasis without the atmosphere of a rowdy college party nearby.

Day Trips from Cape Coral Condos

The city of Cape Coral is connected to Fort Myers, another popular local destination, by two bridges. A simple drive or even cab ride will place you in the middle of a different town full of local merchants and beachfronts, offering a relaxing day near Cape Coral vacation homes.

Many Cape Coral condos will also be located near merchants who rent kayaks, rollerblades and even fishing equipment for family adventures. Consider the activities your family will most likely enjoy before booking your rooms at Cape Coral resorts.

Cape Coral Resorts Offer a Taste of Local Flair

Staying in Cape Coral vacation homes gives you easy access to local businesses, restaurants, shopping and even annual festivals and parades. Grab a local paper after arriving at your Florida condos in Cape Coral, and see which local events your family might enjoy taking part in.

Research local tours, historical sights and even museums and galleries to find the attractions you’ll place on your must-see list. Also, consider that Cape Coral resorts have plenty to offer the romantic couple searching for a quick weekend getaway to reconnect away from the family too.
