  • Our First Trip to Gasparilla Island

"We absolutely fell in love with this condo, the complex, the location and most of all our stunning view! The condo had everything a cook would need to create a wonderful meal. We needed to bring work along with us and there was plenty of room for us to set up our laptops and printer and yet have living space. We could not have asked for a better get a way and we look forward to doing this again next year. Extremely clean - and I am extremely picky!!!"

  • Canal Views and Beach Access

"This was our first trip to Naples for our party of 4 adults and 4 children with ages ranging from 14 months – 60 years old. We chose this house mainly because it was across the canal from my Dad and stepmother’s house, it had a screened-in swimming pool and beach access at the end of the street. The house was immaculate when we arrived. The kitchen was well stocked and was used daily. The open floor plan made the house seem very spacious and allowed people in the kitchen to be part of the conversations going on in the other areas of the house. Next to the kitchen is a laundry room which is always nice to have, especially when you’re traveling with children. Pocket doors enabled us to close off the bedrooms so that people could enjoy an afternoon nap or just some quiet time. The large dining room table allowed the four generations to gather around for meals together usually followed by games. We also used the poolside grill almost every day as well. Several times we’d come back from the beach and the kids would shower off the sand outside then jump into the pool while we threw some hot dogs and hamburgers or bar-b-q on the grill. Since the pool and lanai are screened-in, a lot of time was spent outside because we didn’t have to deal with any pesky insects. Although we didn’t have a boat, the dock made it very convenient for my dad to come by and pick us up in his boat. The beach access was at the end of the street and led to a very nice, uncrowded area. Walking to the beach to watch the beautiful sunsets became a nightly routine. On the fourth of July, we walked to the beach to watch the fireworks then returned to the house and watched more fireworks up and down the canal behind the house. The festivities ended with an amazing firework display we watched through our front door, which was being shot off from a barge on the canal across the street from us! We loved everything about this house. There is a Trader Joe’s, Publix store and Super Wal-Mart just down the street and many restaurants and cafes in the area. Not only was my dad able to play several rounds of golf with his great granddaughter, he was also there when his youngest great grandson took his first steps and began walking all over the house by the end of our trip. Needless to say, some wonderful memories were made on this vacation and in this house!!! Thank you, Maureen, for making the rental process very easy and for sharing your lovely home with us. We hope to return again next year!!!"

  • A dream holiday

"We first came to Sarasota fifteen years ago. Last year we felt like a change of accommodation and I came across this villa on the internet and booked it without seeing it. We turned up this year and as soon as we opened the front door we loved it. It was so spacious and tastefully decorated. The lounge we only used once when we had visitors. The main bedroom had a king size bed which I thought was great as I am very restless in bed. The closet was a good size and plenty of cupboard room. The shower was twice the size of ours at home and had infra red lights in there which we had never had before. The spare bedroom was a good size as well. The dining room was lovely with a quality dining table and chairs although we never used that either. The kitchen was a woman's dream, well fitted with everything you would. I especially liked the fridge freezer. The washing Machine and dryer were in the garage so you hardly heard them when they were on.the Florida room was my favourite as it was so light and airy and I spent quite a lot of time out there. We also eat all our meals out there and watched the wildlife at the same time. The den was my husbands favourite, it was a mans dream and so cosy with plenty of dvd's and books if it rains. There is a barbecue outside the front door which my husband was getting quite an expert at by the end of the holiday. The owners kept in touch by e-mail to see that everything was alright. What more could you want it was pure bliss. Can't wait for next year."

  • Blessed in Paradise

"This beautiful penthouse has all the comforts of home and the decor is absolutely lovely. We felt so relaxed there and we had everything we needed to make our visit very enjoyable. The views from the balcony were spectacular! We were just steps from the beach, so we would walk for miles and enjoy all that Ft. Myers Beach had to offer. It was quiet in the penthouse and on the grounds. The owner was so kind and generous! We were so blessed by her and all of her attention to details. We look forward to staying here again. Thank you Gina for everything we sincerely appreciate it very much!"

Cape Coral Travel Tips

Find Your Quiet Florida Getaway in Cape Coral Vacation Homes

Cape Coral, Florida is not only the largest city in the southwestern portion of this popular vacation state. It offers over 400 miles of waterways that the local population and those staying in Cape Coral vacation homes are able to navigate and explore.

Stay in Cape Coral Vacation Homes for Laid-back Retreats

Cape Coral condos are ideal for anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway from the normal hustle and bustle of your traditional tourist hot-spot. Since the local community is largely made up of retirees and transplanted young families, Cape Coral resorts will place you in the middle of a beachfront oasis without the atmosphere of a rowdy college party nearby.

Day Trips from Cape Coral Condos

The city of Cape Coral is connected to Fort Myers, another popular local destination, by two bridges. A simple drive or even cab ride will place you in the middle of a different town full of local merchants and beachfronts, offering a relaxing day near Cape Coral vacation homes.

Many Cape Coral condos will also be located near merchants who rent kayaks, rollerblades and even fishing equipment for family adventures. Consider the activities your family will most likely enjoy before booking your rooms at Cape Coral resorts.

Cape Coral Resorts Offer a Taste of Local Flair

Staying in Cape Coral vacation homes gives you easy access to local businesses, restaurants, shopping and even annual festivals and parades. Grab a local paper after arriving at your Florida condos in Cape Coral, and see which local events your family might enjoy taking part in.

Research local tours, historical sights and even museums and galleries to find the attractions you’ll place on your must-see list. Also, consider that Cape Coral resorts have plenty to offer the romantic couple searching for a quick weekend getaway to reconnect away from the family too.
