"We (parents and a little girl) stayed in the Sungetaway villa for two weeks in July/August and had a wonderful time. Professional and helpful homeowners to begin with. Responsive and factual. Very important and reassuring when you cross the pond for two weeks. It rarely happens that you find nothing lacking in a vacation rental home ('where is the cork screw', 'does anyone know where the scissors are?'). Lots of rooms, great AC and fans throughout the house. More than enough towels, etc. And a big wachine machine and dryer (where we come from, everything is tiny and expensive). Tiles on the floor so very easy to keep the house tidy and clean. No bugs, no mosquitos. And a nice and peaceful area with, I figure, lots of vacation homes. Nearby a Publix supermarket, which was located just across our favorite restaurant, The Lobster Lady (open every day - don't try to make a reservation because they are unable to accomodatie that in their seating plan, just get there by 3 or 4 PM for a combined lunch/diner). We went to Captiva (lunch at the Mucky Duck) and Sanibel (lunch at Lazy Flamingo) and nearby Fort Myers Beach. No parking problems there and, for us Europeans, at $2 per hour sort of cheap). Disney is a long drive, so you'd better stay there in a hotel and return the next day. Rented a boat ar Paradise Rental. Not cheap but worthwhile, and you only need a drivers license! Watch out for the police though in Cape Coral (there is one living just around the corner. He puts his car in front of his house, the one thing a cop would never, ever, do in Europe, except for Switzerland perhaps). The town is so peaceful, that they have really nothing else to do than watch out for 'road criminals'. A lovely stay in a great place in Cape Coral!"Guest: Martijn Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 18, 2014View listing
"Our family of four my wife and our to children 20 and 16 have come to Florida on many occasions in the past 15 years, this is the first time we rented a house and it will be the last time we use a hotel. Janine (the owner) is absolutely professional and guided us through the process with ease. The property is in a great neighborhood and is clean, safe and close to everything including a beautiful beach. My daughter runs and we were very happy she could run at night without worrying. Thank you so much, we will surely be back."Guest: lavih g. Date of Stay: December 2013 Review Submitted: January 17, 2014View listing
"What a fantastic vacation! We stayed @ Maureen & Bill's home for the month of March. Their home is waiting for you to enjoy. The open floor plan of the kitchen and family rooms was wonderful. They have everything you need for your stay, including bikes, fishing poles, beach chairs, beach umbrella and a cooler. Their home is convenient to shopping and restaurants. It is situated in a very charming, quiet neighborhood. Great for walking your pet , as we did every day. We made extensive use of the lanai, pool and hot tub. Coffee in the morning, lunch, cocktails & dinner in the lanai taking in the canal and all the great views it offers was a daily treat. If you are a boater this home is an added bonus."Guest: Kathleen & Jerry Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: April 6, 2014View listing
"We loved this house and had a great time in this Sandoval Community. Owner was very accommodating. They fixed a need within a couple hours...exceptional. Beautiful house with great use of space and layout for a family. Has everything you need to make yourself feel at home. Perfect location to walking trails and pool/clubhouse. Lake directly a crossed the street. Quiet neighborhood. Great gated community for all ages, we have 2 little kids that loved the resort style pool, waterslide and play area, also plenty of kids activities as well as bocce ball, horseshoes and other activities for active adults. Community is close to all the amenities you need as well as less than 5 minutes from Matlacha and Pine Island. We would definitely go back again."Guest: Wayne H.
