  • Outstanding vacation

"Dave, my wife and I want to thankyou for sharing your great condo. You have it stocked with everything that is needed to have a outstanding vacation. We had coffee each mourning out on the launia, enjoying the peace and quite. After our coffee we then walked the beach each day working up an appetite for breakfast. Highly recommend The over easy cafe and the Sanibel cafe. For supper we recommend Rosies, Blue Giraffe, and Jerry's. Dave you have a very nice condo, the view is outstanding. We hope to use this condo again. Thank you Jim and Sue."

  • C'est Magnifique!

"We finally arrived home last week after spending five weeks at The Home Away From Home with a French Touch and have already booked a longer stay for next year. It is no exaggeration to say that the whole package is simply magnificent: the unit, the grounds, the pool, the beach, the whole area. The unit is spacious, has a great view of the gardens and pool from the lanai, and is conveniently located close to the stairs and elevator that lead directly down one flight to your car parked in the covered garage below. It is very tastefully decorated, with comfortable furniture and modern electronic devices as well as books, magazines and DVDs for your pleasure. We felt very much at home during our stay and felt reluctant to leave. The grounds are also very spacious, beautifully landscaped and well maintained. Everyone we met at the large pool was very friendly and in full vacation mode. The walk to get to the beach is through a very pleasant sand covered, shaded walkway across the street. The beach is HUGE and clean, with wide open spaces on one side and mangroves on the other, people walking, jogging, walking dogs, riding bikes, fishing, collecting shells and so on. We loved the location, where we could easily drive to Fort Myers or Sanibel Island, visit the shops and beach at Times Square, etc. We also liked the convenient nearby shopping and restaurants, as well as making short visits to shop in Bonita Springs and Naples. We can't wait to get back there next year and renew the friendships that we made!"

  • Lovely vacation home. Spacious and inviting.

"We had a wonderful vacation staying in this lovely home. The neighborhood is upscale and quiet. I loved taking a walk every morning and enjoying the beautifully landscaped yards. There are burrowing owls in a close lot and I was fascinated to see them daily. We enjoyed fishing in the canal every evening and the manatees visited us up close and personal almost daily! Amazing creatures! This is better than the zoo! The pool was sparkling clean and heated. The bed was very comfy and the master bath shower spa was AMAZING! The owners were quickly responsive via phone or text with any questions. Highly recommend! Beautiful spacious home in a bit of paradise! I want to live here!"

  • Great condo

"We stayed 9 nights in November 2013. Bill was really great to deal with, very fast to respond to queries and sort out our booking. We were lucky the weather was perfect and the previous week the beach restoration had been completed following storm damage earlier in the year. The apartment had been completely redecorated and new carpets laid the previous week and new covers on the seating (the pictures on the internet are now dated). The lanai was great and we spent a lot of time watching the antics of the ospreys competing for the nest directly in front of the apartment. There were more ospreys than I have ever seen before in Captiva. There was nothing in front of the apartment except palm trees, the opsrey nest and the sea. The pool is off to the right, not directly in front of the apartment and quiet when we were there. We hired bikes for a week from Yolos next to the Mucky Duck so we cycled all round Captiva and South Seas. A number of manatees were still in the South Seas marina plus the regular dolphin sweeping up the fish in the harbour entrance. There was even a baby alligator in the lake in front of the car park for 3 days. We had an amazing trip on the Lady Chadwick with a number of dolphins swimming and jumping with the boat for most of the time we were out. Wifi worked fine and new televisions in all the rooms. There were Tommy Bahamas chairs and umbrellas to take to the beach Everyone in South Seas very friendly. We are hoping to book again his year"

Cape Coral Travel Tips

Find Your Quiet Florida Getaway in Cape Coral Vacation Homes

Cape Coral, Florida is not only the largest city in the southwestern portion of this popular vacation state. It offers over 400 miles of waterways that the local population and those staying in Cape Coral vacation homes are able to navigate and explore.

Stay in Cape Coral Vacation Homes for Laid-back Retreats

Cape Coral condos are ideal for anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway from the normal hustle and bustle of your traditional tourist hot-spot. Since the local community is largely made up of retirees and transplanted young families, Cape Coral resorts will place you in the middle of a beachfront oasis without the atmosphere of a rowdy college party nearby.

Day Trips from Cape Coral Condos

The city of Cape Coral is connected to Fort Myers, another popular local destination, by two bridges. A simple drive or even cab ride will place you in the middle of a different town full of local merchants and beachfronts, offering a relaxing day near Cape Coral vacation homes.

Many Cape Coral condos will also be located near merchants who rent kayaks, rollerblades and even fishing equipment for family adventures. Consider the activities your family will most likely enjoy before booking your rooms at Cape Coral resorts.

Cape Coral Resorts Offer a Taste of Local Flair

Staying in Cape Coral vacation homes gives you easy access to local businesses, restaurants, shopping and even annual festivals and parades. Grab a local paper after arriving at your Florida condos in Cape Coral, and see which local events your family might enjoy taking part in.

Research local tours, historical sights and even museums and galleries to find the attractions you’ll place on your must-see list. Also, consider that Cape Coral resorts have plenty to offer the romantic couple searching for a quick weekend getaway to reconnect away from the family too.
