  • Quiet & Beautiful

"We had a Fantastic Stay in this condo! We did a late Fall Family vacation and couldn't have found a better place to stay!! The condo was everything we could ask for and more!! It was clean, roomy and full of upgrades...also had a washer/dryer in the condo!! The views of the gulf and the sunrises were just fabulous!! We walked the beach or Estero Blvd everyday!! The weather was great and the pool was well maintained too!! Loved the quiet location too....close to amenities, but far enough away that you didn't have to deal with all of the typical Beach traffic! Thank You Toby for sharing your beach getaway!!"

  • Highly Recommend!

"We had an excellent stay at this property. There were 3 couples and it worked out perfectly. The backyard is gorgeous and makes you feel like you are in the Caribbean. It is close to Siesta Key/ Downtown Sarasota. Cabs to both locations ran around $25. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Monita was very responsive making sure we had an excellent time at her property."

  • Better than Naples!

"This was my first visit to Siesta Keys and its beautiful white beaches. I loved it more than Naples, where I have been many times. Siesta Keys has a small town vibe, with many good restaurants (variety of price ranges) and little traffic (if you have been to Naples, you know what I'm talking about.) Beaches are white, flour-like in feel, and populated with pelicans (wow) and other birds. Condo is a short walk to the salt-water pool and beach. Grounds are beautifully landscaped. Lots of chairs are provided at the pool and beach. Condo is warm and inviting. You can put your feet up and enjoy a movie or read a book. I felt right at home and can't wait to return."

  • Superb Serentity

"Traveled from our island home in Maine to explore Dan's own Island Sanctuary. The setting and the home were perfect for us. Weather was delightful and walking to the beach a blast, to read on the sand and find dolphins playing in the surf. The kitchen and overall layout was great. Staying on Cayo feels like one might be in Central America or on some deserted spot in the BVI. Best sleeping area is the "communal" bedroom just below the roof deck where huge hawks(?) circle at eye level. While completely off-the-grid, the house is set up with all the comforts one might wish for, including Satellite TV. Scheming to return asap."

Cortez Travel Tips

Heading to Florida soon? We've got a great option for you if you're planning to spend in one of the last fishing villages on Florida's suncoast. Cortez vacation rentals offer great accommodations while you enjoy the sunny west coast of Florida. They provide a comfortable setting where you can relax as you take in all that Cortez has to offer.

Soak Up Charming Village Life by Booking Cortez Condos

Cortez is a wonderful place to go when you want to experience peaceful moments. Walking through this little fishing village, it's like you've entered another place and time. The village is on Sarasota Bay and was originally settled in the 1880s. The early fishermen found a wealth of seafood here—and today you can still enjoy delicious meals from the sea. With Cortez condos, you can experience the special lifestyle that's been preserved here and you can meet people whose families have been fishing here for four and five generations.

Festivals, Food, And Fun in Cortez

As you enjoy beach life and fishing from one of our cozy Cortez vacation rentals, you can also attend one of the ongoing seafood festivals found in the area. These festivals are filled with music and dance, delicious seafood, demonstrations, and booths—experiences that take you back to the early days of the fishing village. Admission is often free and visitors get a real glimpse of the history and background of this area.
