"My family really enjoyed the comfort of this beautiful house. We found lots of sharks teeth and shells. My favorite place on the property was the gazebo. Even when it was the hottest the breeze made it comfortable at the gazebo. We were a little disappointed in the fishing but the pier is nearby and we caught fish there. I would recommend this place to anyone. It is great for a large group. Plenty of room to gather for games or seclude yourself for reading."

"What a wonderful relaxing and peaceful place for our week's stay in Florida. We normally rent condos for vacations, but decided we wanted something different this time. The location of the cottage is perfect - on a dead-end street and only one house in on the canal from Lemon Bay. The views of the bay were fabulous. We loved sitting on the deck and watching all the birds, and we saw a manatee swimming in the canal. It was so peaceful and quiet - just what we wanted - you didn't hear traffic noise or other renters like you do when staying in a condo or hotel. And I cannot say enough compliments about the lovely owners - sure hope we can get together again when we are down in that neck of the woods next time. We highly recommend this cottage to anyone seeking a place that is charming and provided with about everything you would need."

"The place doesn't look like much when you first pull in, but once you get a taste of the sunsets and the view of the bay, you won't regret it. The beach area just a short drive away can get pretty crowded, so it was good to slip back to this place mid afternoon and have the pool to ourselves. Close to restaurants and grocery store. We were treated to a fresh piña colada by one of the cabin owners too. All in all, just a sweet place. Very clean and comfortable for two."

"I was a little worried to book this property having read a couple of the recent reviews. I decided to take the risk because I wanted to be right on the beach, not "steps away from the beach." The risk was well worth it! My family stayed for five days. The house was very comfortable and clean. My kids were able to go in and out and down to the beach whenever they wanted. It is a very private stretch of beach - not really accessible from the public beaches. We found tons of shark teeth, kayaked and paddle boarded. My boys fished from the beach and from the dock. The owner's brother who lives nearby event lent my kids his fishing net when they lost theirs the day before. We would definitely stay there again."
