Our Wonderful Home from Home in Old Naples
"This is our 6th visit to this fabulous property in 5 years. We love it. The location is perfect, the house is beautiful and has so much character, the gardens and pool are stunning and it is exceptionally good value for money. If you are coming to Old Naples for a vacation - this is definitely the house to come to. We would not consider staying anywhere else and have already booked for 2015!"

"My husband and I stayed in this unit for a week on our honeymoon. What a perfect location, unit, and town! We will never stay anywhere else but here in the future. This unit includes practically everything you'd need for a day on the beach. We had a small cooler, an umbrella, beach chairs, and beach towels waiting for us when we got here. (bring ice with you though!) There are "free ride" companies that will take you anywhere on the key for a tip. No rates like a cab company. The unit also includes everything you'd need just to live there for the week.. pots, pans, plates, utensils, plenty of bath towels dish towels..you name it. Be sure to bring toiletries for the week though! and extra toilet paper! The unit is immaculate. And the view in this unit is amaaaazing! If you're in the mood for a good burger go to The Boat Yard. the best burger you'll ever have in your life. I will be an annual visitor of siesta keys as long as I can walk ;) The Key itself was amazing. not too crowded. in the first 15 min we were sitting on the beach we saw 2 dolphins swim by, and on our 5th day a manatee swam about 5 feet behind us. The Key has everything but a decent grocery store. We just had a Free-Ride take us the Publix just off the key. Thanks Siesta Key for the perfect Honeymoon!!!"

"We have been to Sanibel many times, always having to come down during high season Spring break weeks. Luckily, the MIL rents a house every year, so it's been awhile since we rented a condo. My husband and I decided to spend our Anniversary in Sanibel, so we decided to find a condo on the beach. There are several things about Gulf Beach that make it a great choice - it is a very small complex, with just one building containing 14 units. The reason this is so great is that there is a nice stretch of beach that will end up being used by so few people. When I walked down the beach, other spots were mobbed (even during the off season) because there were clumps of building with tons of condos all sharing the little beach frontage. 106 was a great choice for us because it was relatively cheap, and we saved even more money by not having to rent bikes that can cost a couple hundred dollars per week each. The 106 storage locker is jammed with beach chairs, sand and beach paddle toys, floaties, shelling nets (and now beach umbrellas that we left) and the like, so don't buy anything. You will have everything you need. The condo is totally fine - it was very clean when we arrived and it has everything you would need. The units on the second floor of this condo might have a little better views of the ocean, but we still really enjoyed sitting on the lanai and having a cocktail. The owner of this condo was quick to respond to our rental request, and everything was handled by Sanibel Holiday and they were great to deal with and there is you need anything. We had great weather, but there are a ton of board games, books and videos in the unit if you were to have rain. The east end of the island is great - a little quieter. You can quickly bike down to lighthouse beach to watch the sunrise and I would seriously recommend that."
