Peaceful, beautiful retreat
"Great for fishing, great for relaxing whatching the sunsets on the beach. Lovely place to stay, the owner provided all the information we needed for our stay. Thank you Meegan for sharing your place with us. Great people on the site also very friendly. I didn't want to leave. We will be back hopefully next year. Great restaurants nearby, beach on the Gulf only five minutes drive. Watch the sun come up in the morning and the beautiful sunsets at night with a drink on the Tiki deck. Fish all day long and night as i did of the dock or there are lots of piers to fish off close by or take a charter to catch some monster fish."

"This is an awesome property. It sits on a beautiful lot with lots of palm trees and a great view of the Gulf. We lucked out as there was nobody home at the houses on either side so it was super private! The kitchen was well stocked with the usual items you need. The master bed was comfortable. The air conditioner and tv's worked well. The beach is beautiful, but it is rocky, so your fishing line might get hung up unless you go way out. We found lots of shark's teeth. The wildlife was super! We watched eagles and osprey catch fish, saw two iguanas and a gopher tortoise. I would definitely recommend this property for 2-4 people."

"I was a little worried to book this property having read a couple of the recent reviews. I decided to take the risk because I wanted to be right on the beach, not "steps away from the beach." The risk was well worth it! My family stayed for five days. The house was very comfortable and clean. My kids were able to go in and out and down to the beach whenever they wanted. It is a very private stretch of beach - not really accessible from the public beaches. We found tons of shark teeth, kayaked and paddle boarded. My boys fished from the beach and from the dock. The owner's brother who lives nearby event lent my kids his fishing net when they lost theirs the day before. We would definitely stay there again."

"The place doesn't look like much when you first pull in, but once you get a taste of the sunsets and the view of the bay, you won't regret it. The beach area just a short drive away can get pretty crowded, so it was good to slip back to this place mid afternoon and have the pool to ourselves. Close to restaurants and grocery store. We were treated to a fresh piña colada by one of the cabin owners too. All in all, just a sweet place. Very clean and comfortable for two."
